Good Morning! My name is Heather and my name is Lindsey. Today is Tuesday, March 8th and it is an F Day. Please stand for the pledge.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all.
1. Until further notice, when temperatures outside are 55 degrees or above at recess time, students may go out without a jacket or coat. Short sleeves or shorts are also permitted at that temperature, as per Mr. Stanmyer.
2. There will be a meeting of the Student Council tomorrow March 9th at 2:30 in room 111.
3. If you ordered from our school-wide fundraiser- Cookie Dough, Pies, and Pretzels. Please mark your calendars, the delivery date is Tuesday, March 15th.
4. With the warmer weather coming soon, it is time to change your footwear. How about a nice pair of black and orange slides with the Marlboro Dukes logo? If you are interested, please see Mr. Pesano in Room 215 for more information.
5. Each year, the Marlboro Middle School presents a Diversity Night to members of the Marlboro community. We share information, artifacts, and food representing cultural backgrounds from around the world in hopes of educating students on the diverse world in which we live.
If you are planning on coming and sharing in this very special night please fill out the form and return it to your Social Studies teacher by this Wednesday, March 9th. If you need a form, please pick one up in the Main Office. We are looking forward to a fun and educational evening.
6. The jump rope for heart event will be held this Wednesday, March 9th from 2:30-3:45. The 4:00 bus will be provided. If you have not given your team lists to Mrs.Lipsey, please do so today! There will be a brief meeting in Mr. Trapani's room tomorrow, March 8th at 7:20 to discuss any questions you may have concerning the event.
7. Attention to all the eighth graders that have taken a permission slip to fund raise: If you have the signed permission slip or have already turned it in to Mrs. Arrotta, you may come to room 207 9th period to get your box of candy. Please hand in all money to Mrs. Arrotta in room 207.
8. Modified Track begins on March 14th. In order to participate, you must have an up to date sports physical and complete the proper paperwork. All must be done prior to Thursday, March 10th in order to be allowed to practice on the 14th.
