"Pick 3 and Pick 4 Bonus Cash" Promotion Rules and Regulations

Purpose The North Carolina Education Lottery ("NCEL") is conducting a promotion to provide purchasers of Pick 3 and Pick 4 draw tickets the chance to win a bonus entry ticket. Bonus entry tickets will be eligible to win cash prizes of $200 and $500.

Promotion Period This promotion will run from Tuesday March 1, 2022 ? Monday March 28, 2022. These dates are subject to change at the sole discretion of the NCEL (the "Promotion Period").

Promotion Execution

HOW TO QUALIFY: To qualify a player must, purchase a $1 or higher single Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket between March 1, 2022 and March 28, 2022 at a lottery retail location. Entry tickets will be randomly awarded based on an interval applied to the Lottery gaming system throughout the state.

Up to 500,000 Bonus Cash entry tickets will be distributed weekly. If a player receives a Bonus Cash entry ticket, it will print immediately after their purchased Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket prints. A message will print on all Pick 3 and Pick 4 tickets that trigger a Bonus Cash entry ticket.

The Bonus Cash entry ticket contains a 7-digit number which is automatically entered into the next scheduled Pick 3 and Pick 4 Bonus Cash Drawing. The entry ticket will also include the date of the Bonus Cash drawing. If a player's ticket matches a 7-digit number selected by the Lottery random number generator, a cash prize of $200 or $500 is won. Cash prizes can be claimed at any lottery retailer or lottery claim center.

PRIZES: The North Carolina Education Lottery will conduct four (4) separate weekly Bonus Cash Drawings. Each drawing will award 750 prizes of $200 and 250 prizes of $500.

DRAWINGS: Bonus Cash entries generated by or before a specific entry deadline will only be included in the specified drawing. Entries generated after a designated entry deadline will only be entered into the next available drawing during the promotion period. Upon completion and verification of the drawing, results will be posted on . All lottery vending devices and lottery ticket checkers can also verify a Bonus Cash entry ticket status as a winner or non-winner.

The odds of winning in any Bonus Cash Drawing depend on the numbers of entries generated for that drawing.

Bonus Cash entry tickets are no eligible for redemption in the North Carolina Education Lottery Lucke rewards program.

The NCEL may declare a Pick 3/Pick 4 ticket and/or Bonus Cash Entry ticket void if it is stolen, not sold or deemed not sold, or issued in accordance with NCEL rules and procedures; if it/they is/are illegible, altered, mutilated, or counterfeit; or if any such ticket fails any of the validation tests or procedures established by the NCEL. 5. Liability for void, altered, or misprinted tickets, if any, is limited to refund of retail sales price. The NCEL is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected tickets or tickets not produced due to a telecommunications or power interruption. 6. Employees of the North Carolina Education Lottery, Scientific Games Corporation ("SGI"), IGT Global Solutions Corporation ("IGT"), Pollard Banknote Limited/NeoPollard, MDI Entertainment, LLC ("MDI"), Cactus Communications, Inc. ("Cactus"), and Thomas and Gibbs CPAs, are prohibited from participating in this Promotion. 7. All lottery tickets, winners, and transactions are subject to, and players agree to be bound by North Carolina State laws and to the rules, policies and procedures of the NCEL. 8.
