Launch Web-Based Training ? External Portal

1. Go to the BSC Self-Service Portal (external):

2. Click Employees & Retirees.

3. Enter your BSC ID and password.

4. In Self-Service Tools, click My Learning.

A new window will open.

5. Click on the Self Service link. This will expand to display the Learning link choices. 6. Click on the All Learning link.

7. Click the View All link (to see all course titles) 8. Click on Title to sort by course title. 9. Locate the course and click the Launch button to start the course.

Job Aid ? Launch Web-Based Training IMPORTANT Note: Certifications will display on your learning record with two entries. One entry indicating a status of Registered ? no action required by the User and the second entry indicating a status of Enrolled ? with the required action to select "Launch".

Click the Launch button Click the Launch link

Once completed, the status will be indicated as Completed for both entries, Web Based and Certification. Note: The Launch button will remain active, although the course is completed, this isn't an error, and no further action is required by the User.

10. Click on "Full version for all other users."

Q1: I forgot my password, how can I change it? A1: To reset your password, navigate to the portal at . Select the Forgot Password

link; you will be required to enter your BSC ID number. Answer your Challenge Questions and provide a new password.

Q2: I have never signed in to the external portal, how do I sign in? A2: If you have signed in to the internal portal, use your same BSC ID and password. If you have never

signed in to either portal, see the instructions on page 6 of this document. Q3: I don't have my BSC lD number; how do I get it? A3: Your BSC ID number is located at the top of your pay stub. You can also get it online. See the

instructions on page 7 of this document. Q4: I'm locked out of the portal? A4: Contact the BSC at 646-376-0123 (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Q5: I received a system error message (e.g., Java script not installed)? A5: Contact your Agency IT Help Desk. Q6: Do I need a speaker for the web-based training? A6: No audio is required. Q7: I'm trying to view the video and I reach this prompt; which one should I pick? A7: Select "Full version for all other users." Q8: I don't see my course on the list of courses. A8: Click the View All link to see all of the courses. Q9: Can I stop the course at any time? A9: Yes. After launching the course, you can stop or exit at any time. When you resume the training, it

will be bookmarked. Click Re-Launch to begin where you left off.
