Meeting deadlines is paramount to success in school and prepares students for college and careers later in life. We have created a website to keep students and parents/guardians informed of what is going on in 7th grade Social Studies. The site can be accessed at mrsvolpesocialstudies.. Daily homework will usually be posted to this site. However, students will still be required to copy down the daily homework when they enter the classroom. We have also created an account on Remind which is a messaging service that will be used to communicate with parents about deadlines, upcoming quizzes, tests, etc. Please include a parent/guardian cell phone number on the tear-off.Fillmore Academy Academic Expectations and ProtocolsProjects/Tests/Tasks(Subject specific) 55%Quizzes/ Mini tasks 25%Homework 10%Class work/ Participation 10%Midterms/ Finals are counted twice.*8th grade finals count as one test gradeLate Graded Assignments- will not be accepted after a calendar week.
