Notice of Mandatory Insurance Training ? Annuity Carrier Product Training

New insurance industry regulations require that in certain states agents must complete annuity training prior to annuity business submission. Two components are required:

1. A state-accepted annuity suitability course 2. Insurance carrier annuity product training

Effective Wednesday, December 21st, the Wells Fargo approved Continuing Education vendor ? Kaplan Education ? is hosting the carrier product training for the companies listed above on the Kaplan Insurance CE portal. If you have already completed Carrier Product Training you do not need to duplicate the training on the Kaplan CE Platform.

Please note: The following carriers are already available on the Kaplan CE portal: AXA, Hartford, ING, Jackson National, Lincoln Financial, MetLife, Nationwide, New York Life, SunAmerica, Sun Life Financial, Transamerica, and Western National.

For the annuity carriers not on the Kaplan portal at this time, please visit the: InfoMAX Products Annuities Training website.

Industry regulations in the states that have adopted the regulation require that annuity carriers validate completion of the carrier's product training prior to processing the trade. To prevent unnecessary delays in processing business, please ensure that you have completed the product training prior to submitting the trade.
