If it passes it would be the first time that legislators legalized marijuana without a public vote. All counties, cities or towns of more than 100,000 people can opt out of the selling of legalized marijuana. Theresa also reported that she reviewed the draft of our informative marijuana letter with Meredith and she has made all of the revisions per Meredith’s direction. Theresa suggested to the Ardsley PTA that they may want to consider sharing a post from the NY State PTA stating their opposition to recreational marijuana legalization.Coalition response to Euclid Ave bust – Our post reached 788 people, and was shared multiple times on Facebook. Placemats campaign – Slyce, Bella’s, and Ardsley Diner have said yes. Playing phone tag with Pourhouse. Tony Vacca volunteered to reach out to the Pourhouse, Planet Wings, Stagioni, and Ardsley Cucina.Positive Norming posters fund – We have funds set aside for posters for positive norming. Discussed using the funds with Allison and Monique.Youth to Youth summer conference – E-mails have been sent to last year’s attendees but have received no response as of the coalition meeting date. Will ask the HS and the MS to send it out to parents next week.Mets Fireworks Night fundraiser – Eventbrite site is active. Each ticket includes admission to the game, a voucher for free Mets cap, $12 food concession voucher, group photo on the field before game at 6pm, fireworks. We get two batting range tickets and a signed baseball that we can raffle off.Next meeting Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at 7:30PM in the Ardsley Community Center ................
