Dear Vendor,

Albertsons Companies is renewing its pesticide residue testing program of O Organics products for 2016. Because you supply the O Organics label, you will need to conduct annual pesticide residue testing to demonstrate the O Organics products you supply meet NOP requirements.

SpecConnect will be our communication platform with vendors. Albertsons Companies QA will send out a task through vendor's SpecConnect supplier account; in order to complete this task, please follow the directions of the link below once you sign in with your SpecConnect account login information:

To complete this requirement, please submit the following documentation no later than September 15th, 2016: 1. Proof of the testing lab's accreditation Samples must be tested by an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited laboratory 2. Pesticide residue test results for each UPC you pack under the O Organics label Testing must be broad spectrum and include all applicable pesticides Samples to be tested must be from most recent or upcoming 2016 harvest Samples tested can be of raw or finished product If you have more than one grower per UPC, only one grower per UPC needs to be tested Only one lot per year, per UPC, of product needs to be tested If there are multiple sizes of the same product, only one size needs to be tested Pesticide residue results must meet NOP requirements 3. Samples tested must be same lot as O Organics product supplied to Albertsons Companies Provide supporting documentation to prove tested sample was purchased by or shipped to Albertsons Companies, such as POs and/or Pick Lists *Pesticide testing results must be traceable to the supporting documentation by including the PO #, Lot #, Pick List #, etc. on the pesticide residue test results* 4. Letter of Guarantee, on your company letterhead, that products supply for Albertsons Companies meet NOP requirements

Please reply to this letter at the e-mail below by May 1st, 2016 with: 1. Your company's intent to complete this requirement 2. A list of the products with UPCs your facility packs under the O Organics label 3. Expected timeline of completion due to varying harvest dates
