Can I register the day of the Conference?
There are NO guarantees for acceptance of at-door registrants due to space limitations.
Can I purchase more than one registration?
Yes. You may enter the number of attendees you wish to pay for in the quantity box on the registration form.
How do I pay?

You will receive a confirmation of registration via e-mail.
What is the Conference's Refund/Cancellation Policy?
Refunds (less a $50 fee) will be given in cases of emergency or if written notice is received via email no later than August 30, 2013. NO REFUNDS can be issued after this date.
Are there Student Discounts available?
YES!! For student s who are not yet certified coders, rate is $105..00 as no CEUs can be earned prior to certification! We urge students to come and learn from experienced professional coders and our speakers, as well as network with potential employers and agencies, state and private. Simply provide us with your student ID and the name of your student advisor. Please come and join us!

What meals are included? A continental breakfast will be served to start the day. Our luncheon is a “Cowboy Meal” cooked over an open fire by “Cookie” and served to you by our friendly cowpoke Wranglers. Steaks will be cooked over an open fire, just the way you like them, with beans, corn, biscuits, and other fixin’s, just the way it ought to be out here in Montana.

Korb Matosich is the President of AAPC. In this role he is responsible for the management and direction of the company’s operations as well as cultivating new growth opportunities. Mr. Matosich came to AAPC in 2011 from Ingenix, where he held a number of senior roles both in the U.S. and Europe. Most recently, he was responsible for their Payment Integrity Operations. Mr. Matosich started his career with The Boston Consulting Group and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

2013 Jaci has been working in the field of medical coding and auditing for 25 years and has been with Practice Integrity since 2003. Jaci received her B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech.
Jaci has worked in a variety of practice settings and has particular expertise in coding for Family Practice, Urgent Care, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Medicare’s Teaching Physician Guidelines, with a particular emphasis on compliance with Evaluation and Management guidelines. She leads a group of AAPC Certified Instructors in teaching the Professional Medical Coding Curriculum. Nationally acclaimed for medical coding, many have called on her expertise to assist their practice in the area(s) of physician office compliance, medical chart audits, and provider and staff education. Jaci was recognized as Coder of the Year for the State of Virginia in 2006 and is past president of the local Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders.

Angela "Annie" Boynton has served in the health information management field for over 10 years in provider, payer and educational capacities. Currently, she is the Director of 5010/ICD-10 Communication/Adoption and Training at United Health Group, where she helps lead their overall ICD-10 transition. Annie also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Massachusetts Bay Community College, where she develops curriculum and teaches medical coding, billing, administrative procedures and medical law and ethics.
Annie was a member the ICD-10 curriculum development team for AAPC. As part of this team, she helped develop the curriculum that payers will use to facilitate successful 5010 and ICD-10 implementation. Annie holds an associate’s degree in health information technology and a bachelor’s degree in health care management from Fisher College and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Health Informatics.

Dr. Stephen Spain has been engaged in the full-time practice of family medicine for over 25 years. In 1998, he founded Doc-U-Chart, a consulting firm specializing in charting documentation and medical auditing. He is president-elect of AAPC's Tyler, TX chapter and teaches coding for Tyler Junior College. Spain frequently speaks and writes on proper coding, coding ethics, and regulatory compliance.

Health Care Fraud….
Toni Slocum holds dual coding credentials and has been involved in the health care industry for the last 18 years. She is currently the Supervisor and Senior Investigator for ODS Health Plans of Portland, Oregon in the Special Investigations Unit. She was previously an investigator with Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon and also served as the program director for the Medical Insurance Billing and Coding program at a Portland area college, and a coding teacher at other venues.
Ms. Slocum has been the featured speaker at National as well as local venues. She is past president of the Columbia River Coders chapter, holds dual credentials with, and served on the National Advisory Board of the AAPC. She was instrumental in starting a successful, annual, two-day coding and compliance conference in Portland.

Rita Genovese is actively involved as an officer in the Greater Philadelphia Chapter. She is president of the Greater Philadelphia chapter. She also served as chapter president in 2008 and as new member development officer in 2009 and has over 20 years of experience in billing and practice management. As Director of Operations she currently manages a practice of 37 physicians, two outpatient infusion centers and a support staff of 190. Coding and Compliance Regulation Training is a huge part of her daily responsibilities.

Doris Davis is the CEO of Montana Medical Coding Education Group of Helena. She is the former owner of Fullerton Medical Coding and Compliance Group, a forensic auditing firm, and CEO of Practice Insight Medical Consulting. She was credentialed through the AAPC in 1991 and is a former PMCC instructor and founder and past-president of AAPC local chapters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Since 1969 she has been a practice administrator, consultant, forensic auditor, seminar leader (McVey Seminars), guest lecturer at medical schools and universities, patient advocate and passionate educator. Accordingly, Doris has introduced the AAPC to thousands of coders nationwide. In 2004, Davis moved to Montana and where she became a member of the Billings Chapter. When she married Helena native John Davis in 2008 and moved to Helena she discovered there was no AAPC local chapter. Doris was instrumental in founding AAPC's Helena local chapter and proudly serves as the 2013 Chapter President. She has previously held the offices of Treasurer, Education officer, President-elect and Member Development Officer.
