Please find below details of a change that is to take place which impacts SCI Store Web Services. This change will only come into effect following the implementation of the stated Build number or subsequent Build number.

If this change has an impact on your application interface to SCI Store please discuss this with your NHS Sponsor and if necessary raise a call with the SCI Store Team through the helpdesk at itservicedesk.nhss-ns@ or directly on 0845 957 2700.

This call should be raised against the group “UK.AppsSupp.SCIStore.CS”.

Change Summary:

Change Detail:

|Web Services 6.0 GetPatient response returns exception: 'object Reference not set to an instance of an object' under the following|

|circumstances.... |

|1. Patient merge exists |

|2. Master patient within the merge has previously had a UCPN (Unique Care Pathway Number) saved from either Result, Document or |

|Treatment Log |

|3. ADT is then received relating to the Child Patient within the merge |

|This issue has been resolved in this release of SCI Store (V8.1). |

Impact on existing users:

|Prevents the retrieval of patient demographics for a small number of patients when the 3rd party application :- |

| |

|uses 6.0 Web Services |

|accesses a SCI Store version prior to V8.1.1201 |

|accesses a SCI Store with ADT data and the UCPN value populated |

Reason for change:

|To resolve the issue described above. |
