4208145-30924500Occupational CodesThis document provides a list of occupational codes included in the Participant Accomplishment and Grant Evaluation System (PAGES). These codes will be used by PAGES users to identify the occupations for which healthcare training courses are preparing HPOG participants as well as the occupations associated with the healthcare jobs participants hold. Occupational codes are divided into major categories based on the training requirements of the occupation, the nature and function of the occupation, and the field of work. This list draws from occupations and trainings included in the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) and the National Center for Education Statistics’ Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP). The numerical structure is based largely on O*NET coding. The occupational codes are presented in two tables. Table 1 lists occupational codes and names and provides a crosswalk to related CIP codes. Table 2 provides the same list of occupations and code numbers with a description of the occupation, as well as common coursework associated with the given occupation, where available. These descriptions are provided as a guide to assist PAGES users in selecting the correct occupational code.If you do not find an occupational code that matches the training program or job you are entering into PAGES, please contact PAGES Support at PAGESSupport@ for assistance.Table 1: PAGES Occupational Codes ListingMajor CategoryCode and Occupation TitleCIP CodeHealth Management Occupations?11-9111 Medical and Health Services Managers51.0701?11-9121.01?
