BELMONT RACETRACK: Wednesday, 10/18. With more than 110 years of tradition, Belmont Park plays host to the finest thoroughbred racing in the country. Enjoy a buffet lunch in a private dining room with access to the track. Proper attire please (no jeans). $55.00pp. Limit 40. Members only. Sign up begins 9/11.

FLEA MARKET: Friday, 10/20 from 10:00am-3:00pm. It’s never to early too start cleaning out the closets for the fall. Remember, something you no longer use just might be someone’s treasure.

SAGAMORE HILL TRIP: Wednesday, 10/25.Pay a visit to Theodore Roosevelt’s “Summer White House” and explore the Roosevelt family home. Private tour followed by lunch at a local pizzeria. $20.00pp. Limit 20 Sign up begins 9/18.

CRAFT FAIR: Friday, 11/17

TOUR WASHINGTON DC – OUR NATION’S CAPITAL: 9/28/18 – 10/2/18. Trip includes motor coach transportation, 4 nights lodging, and tours featuring the WWII Memorial, Capitol Hill, Embassy Row, the Korean War Memorial, the Smithsonian , Arlington Cemetery, Mount Vernon and much more. Cost: $550 pp double occupancy, $730 single. Sign-ups begin in October.

Empower and enrich your life through the creative process of hands on self-expression with multiple art modalities. Embrace and honor your stories, feelings, memories and ideas in a nurturing atmosphere! Bonnie O’Connor, ATR, will be instructing this brand new arts program at Sandel.

This new program will meet on Fridays at 10:00am on 9/15, 10/6, 10/13, 11/3 and 12/1.

ANNIVERSARY PARTY: Friday, 9/8 from 12-4. The beautifully renovated Coral House, located in Baldwin, will be the host of Sandel Center’s 41st Anniversary event. A delicious lunch and entertainment by Steve Cassano. $40.00pp.

LONG BEACH BOARDWALK: Tuesday, 9/12 @ 1:00pm. Sandel members can stroll or walk vigorously with plenty of rest areas on the beautiful Long Beach boardwalk, followed by a stop at Marvel on the way home for ice cream at your own cost. $2.00 transportation fee.

SUNDAY FUNDAY: Sunday, 9/17 from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Get ready for Bingo fun and Chinese food for dinner. $10.00pp. Please note: (Dinner @ 4pm and Bingo @ 5pm)

LANDMARK THEATER: Wednesday, 9/27. Get ready to tap your shoes and bounce to music from the 20’s & 30’s by critically acclaimed vocalist Kate Beckman. $5.00pp. Limit 20 Sign-up begins 9/11

The Movies at Sandel

Beauty & the Beast: Friday, 9/22 @ 1:00pm. An adapatation of the classic fairytale about a monstrous prince and a young woman who fall in love. (2 hrs 9 min)

Going in Style: Friday, 9/29 @ 1:00pm. Lifelong buddies decide to buck retirement and plan to rob a bank after their pensions are cancelled. (1 hr 36 min).
