As the COO, Cindy oversees the day-to-day operations of a 120-bed inpatient hospital (20 child/adolescent, 40 adult, 20 women’s, 40 senior adult), as well as a 24/7 crisis/intake center, and a full continuum of wrap-around outpatient services which includes PHP, IOP, and OP counseling services throughout HealthONE. Under her leadership and guidance, Behavioral Health Services have significantly expanded within the HCA/HealthONE Continental Division to include the addition of child and adolescent inpatient/outpatient services, expanded outpatient programming for women, adults and senior adults, and the revitalization of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) services. Additionally, Cindy has introduced behavioral health integrated services in all HealthONE entities, and she has established numerous partnerships with physicians, schools, businesses, and mental health community organizations. Most recently, she spearheaded the construction/expansion of an additional 40 beds for the Behavioral Health & Wellness Center, which opened in March of 2020. The Behavioral Health & Wellness Campus employs almost 300 staff members to include Board-Certified Psychiatrists and Residents, Nurses, Master’s Level Clinicians including Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Occupational Therapists, Recreational Therapists, Music Therapists and Art Therapists, as well as Behavioral Health Technicians and Certified Nursing Assistants. Cindy has been part of the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) family since 2011. Prior to joining HealthONE in the Continental Division, Cindy served as the Regional Vice President for the HCA/Capital Division in Virginia, where she was responsible for the operations of 11 Behavioral Health hospitals and 340 inpatient beds. Cindy moved to Colorado in 2016 bringing with her over 30 years of experience in behavioral health. She is dedicated to promoting mental wellness for all ages and reducing the stigma attached to those who seek behavioral health services in all of our communities.
