POSTION TITLE: CORPORATE CLINIC DIRECTOR

REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

This position requires a unique combination of skills and abilities, including administration, management, vision casting and interpersonal and communication skills. Developing and expanding the outreach of clinical service, the position works in conjunction with the Corporate staff to develop and implement the mission and vision of Alternatives.

Full Time:Salary

Salary range $45,000-$50,000 based on credentials

Responsibilities:

Medical Qualifications

• Experienced LPN or RN currently licensed in the state of Michigan

• On the job nursing experience in clinical and administration

• Knowledge regarding sexually transmitted infection, fetal development and pregnancy

• Office management skills

• Good reputation in the medical community

• SRA certification (to be obtained within one year from hire date)

Administration

• Meets regularly with the Executive Director

• Meets regularly with Corporate Directors

• Meets regularly with Center Directors and Clinic Coordinators (requires travel)

• Meets regularly with Program team

• Give oversight to Medical Advisory Committee

• Assures accurate filing and compiling of client reports

• Attend conferences and seminars as directed by executive director

Personnel

• Gather and compile monthly report for the Executive Director and Board of Directors

• Keep accurate and up-to-date personnel files for all Program employees and volunteers

• Perform yearly review for Clinic Coordinator in all locations

• Assist Clinic Coordinator in yearly reviews of all volunteer advisors, nurses and sonographers

• Perform biyearly assessment of Clinic Coordinator in all locations

Program

• Oversee operations of STI clinic, medical staff and ultrasound outreach

• Work with Director of Education to provide direction and oversite for online classes

• Assist Clinic Coordinator as needed with volunteer training and in interventions with clients

• Provide direction and work with Clinic Coordinator in each location for quarterly in service training.

• Willingness to speak and represent Alternatives to community churches and organizations

• Assure medical licensing is up to date for all Clinic Coordinators and Medical Director

• Focus on establishing community connections for development of Alternatives services

• Provide direction to individual site Clinic Coordinator regarding community connections

• Oversee, design and develop client services paperwork, policies and procedures as they relate to the general clinic and best practices of the State of Michigan and Alternatives for ultrasound, STI clinic and pregnancy tests

• Oversee and ensure the quality of all volunteer activities for all locations

• Ensure that each program is functioning in line with the mission and vision of the Alternatives

• Oversee implementation of new initiatives and program expansions in conjunction with Executive Director and Medical Advisory Committee

• Yearly review of Clinic Policies and Procedures and Ultrasound and STI policies and procedures, consulting with Executive Director, Medical Director and Medical Advisory Committee

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

• Work with Clinic Coordinators to assure volunteer appreciation throughout the year

Personal Qualifications

• In full agreement with Alternatives Statements of Mission, Faith, Principle and Values

• Strong Pro-Life/pro-abstinence convictions

• Previous team management experience

• Organized, self-motivated

• Able to work without direct supervision

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Teachable

• Previous experience with a Christian non-profit organization a plus

• Regular attendance/membership at a Bible-based church

Compensation

• Full-time position
