EDUCATIONAL AIDE/STUDENT MONITOR PERMITS FOR THE ARCHDIOCESE OF CINCINNATI

Effective January 1, 2014, the Ohio Department of Education is moving to online licensure. The Archdiocese of Cincinnati has enrolled with ODE and has the ability to sign your license application electronically. Beginning January 2014 ? all New and Renewal license applications must be completed online.

RENEWAL Educational Aide/Student Monitor Permit Requirements:

1. BCI fingerprints are good indefinitely if you have been a resident of Ohio for the past 5 years. FBI fingerprints are good for 5 years. You can check your prints using your SAFE account on the ODE website. If you need to be fingerprinted - Background Check/Fingerprinting Requirements

2. Submit your license application to ODE online. a. Access or create your SAFE account to get started on the online application process through "My Educator Profile". Once you have a SAFE account you will be able to access "My Educator Profile" from the ODE CORE link on your SAFE account menu. Under "My Educator Profile", click on "My Credentials" to renew. 3. Complete the Educational Aide/Student Monitor Information Form

NOTE: #3 above must be completed with each renewal before the Archdiocese of Cincinnati will sign the online application for Educational Aide/Student Monitor Permits.
