Applying for Licensure ? Create a SAFE Account (if you do not have one)

? education.Teachers ? Under Resources, select My Educator Profile (SAFE) ? Takes you to the log in page and sign up link (below)

To create a safe account ? complete the information and follow the prompts.

This is a look at the second part of creating a SAFE account. After you check I agree and next, an email will be sent to verify your account. Complete this verification process and then Log In to your SAFE account.

This is the first page of your SAFE account after you are logged in. From here- choose ODE.CORE to apply for your license.

From the Dashboard, "New Application" to begin the application process.

From the Start New Application page,

Select Resident Educator License -4 year

Then select "Apply".

Select the correct box for licensure type? State of Ohio approved licensure program; or A licensure program in another state.
