Treasurer’s Report:
▪ Approved minutes from the regular meeting of June 10, 2010 and the
special meeting of June 25, 2010, as presented.
▪ Approved the Financial Report for May, 2010 as presented.
▪ Authorized the treasurer to borrow from the bond retirement fund,
if necessary.
Personnel Items:
Administrative:
▪ Approved a five year administrative contract to Mark K. Neal effective from August 1, 2011 through July 31, 2016.
▪ Approved Ryan D. Smith for a five year contract effective from August 1, 2011 through July 31, 2016.
▪ Approved a one year limited contract to Anne Slaboden, R.N., BSN as Tri-Valley
School District School Nurse for the 2010-2011 school year pending verification of all license requirements, background checks, and years of experience calculations.
Certified:
▪ Issued a one year limited teaching contract for the 2010-2011 school
year to Elizabeth “Betsy” Prouty as middle school science teacher pending
verification of all license requirements, background checks, and years of
experience calculations.
▪ Issued a one year limited contract to Jared Hindel as the On-Line Learning
Instructor/Coordinator (Nova Net, Apex) at TVHS for the 2010-2011 school year
pending verification of all license requirements, background checks, and years of
experience calculations.
▪ Approved a one year temporary teaching contract to Kelly Greulich as second grade teacher at Nashport Elementary for the 2010-2011 school year pending verification of all license requirements, background checks and years of experience calculations.
▪ Issued a one year temporary contract to Brenda Moran as Title I Instructor at Adamsville Elementary for the 2010-2011 school year pending verification of all license requirements, background checks, and years of experience calculations.
▪ Accepted the resignation of Carrie Cullins as Title I Instructor at Frazeysburg Elementary.
▪ Approved a one year temporary contract to Carrie Cullins as kindergarten teacher at Adamsville Elementary for the 2010-2011 school year.
Classified:
▪ Approved to rescind the contract of Chris Irvin that was issued in May, 2010, as District Network Administrator.
▪ Approved a two year contract to Chris Irvin as District Network Administrator beginning with the 2010-2011 school year as presented.
▪ Accepted the resignation of Judy Amspaugh as part-time kindergarten aide at Nashport Elementary.
▪ Approved a one year temporary contract to Judy Amspaugh as full-time kindergarten aide at Nashport Elementary beginning with the 2010-2011 school year.
Supplemental Contracts:
▪ Frazeysburg Elementary:
Rescinded the contract issued to Karen Bay as Volunteer Building Coordinator.
Issued a contract as Volunteer Building Coordinator to Michelle Helms for the
2010-2011 school year.
▪ Coaching Contract:
Approved Jared Hindel as head wrestling coach for the 2010-2011 school year.
➢ Intra-District Certified Moves:
Lynn Untied from Dresden Reading Instructor to Frazeysburg Title I
Don Ripple will be moving from 8th grade science to 7th grade science @ the M.S.
Superintendent’s Report:
▪ Approved all Professional Leave Requests.
▪ Approved the recommendation to accept the dairy bid from Broughton Foods, the bakery bid from Nickles Bakery and the fleet tire bid from Central Ohio Bandag.
▪ Approved the request to advertise and accept bids for three (3) new 77- passenger conventional school bus.
▪ Approved the recommendation to enter into a contract with Zanesville City School District to offer federally funded Nonpublic (Title I Target Assisted) SchoolServices to qualifying students for the 2010-2011 school year.
▪ Approved membership ($325.00) with the Coalition of Rural and Appalachian
Schools (CORAS) for the 2010-2011 school year.
▪ Approved the administrative policy pertaining to the use of district owned cell
phones.
