Triple Threat Travel League Tournament Rules:Scoring- The official score sheet will be kept at the scorer’s table. The score book and the clock will be kept by a tournament employee.Referees- Two HIGH SCHOOLcertified referees will be furnished for all grades.Clock- All divisions will play 16 minutes halves-with clock stopping during foul shots/time-outs/injuries/request of referee.*3 minute half time *The clock will stop on all whistles during the last 90 seconds of each half. If the point differential is more than 15 points (last half only) the clock will only stop on timeouts.Timeouts- 2 full timeouts & 1 30 second timeout. They may be used any time during the game. One extra timeout will be awarded for an overtime period.Overtime-2 minutes in length, clock stops on all whistles in the last minute only.Pressing/defense- Any half-court defense is permitted during the entire game and full court press will be permitted in the 2nd half only. No press after a 20 point lead. 1st team violation of pressing will result in a warning, subsequent violations will result in a technical foul.Ejections-Any player, coach, or fan that is ejected will be suspended from the remainder of the tournament.Warm-up- 5 minutes prior to your game time; no players may be on the floor before this warm-up time. Teams must bring their own balls for warm-ups.Uniforms-Players must have same color jerseys with number on the back. Home team (listed first) shall have color preference.Coaches-A maximum of 3 coaches may be on the bench during a game; all coaches must be over 18.Free throws -1 and 1 on 7th team foul and shoot 2 on the 10th foul. Free throw line 15 feet for 5-6 grade girls & boys and 13 feet for 3/4 grade boys and 4th grade girls.Fouls-Players foul out with their 5th foul of the gameTrophies & Awards- Grade division champions and runners-up will receive a team trophy and championship/runner up t-shirts for all participants.Insurance- Each participant in this tournament shall be covered by his/her own insurance.Rosters-Players may not be added to a team’s roster after the first game begins. Coaches must enter their lineup 15 minutes prior to their game into the official book at the scorer’s table.Admission: $5 at the door (this ticket is good for an entire day), Children age 6 and under are free. Senior rate of $3Locations:All participants and fans will enter through the same location. Please report to the courts and fields building and enter through the front entrance. There are signs to help navigate. Pool Play: Each age group will have its own tournament bracket depending on number of teams in that tournament. (see schedule and bracket sheets).Tie Breaker rules:1st- Head to Head Competition.2nd- Least total amount of points allowed in your 3 games. 3rd- Point Differential max 15.4th- Points Scored. 5th-Coin toss.OHSAA rules will apply except where noted above**Tournament director reserves the right to make adjustments in rules and format if unforeseen situations occur.** All Tournament director decisions are final.***Please see below for 3rd grade boys and 4th grade girlsrule changes.***Specific Grade division rule changes:3rd grade boys – ALL man to man defense will be played. Pressing will be allowed the last 4:00 minutes of the game as long as the Point differential is 15 points or less.
