Now I can explain the book title. A retired widower Navy officer married a widow, moved in across the street from my house, and promptly held a yard sale in the process of combining two households. I already had too much yard, but he had a picnic table for sale that later adorned my front yard. Now a garage sale would have been more useful. ................
