Please review the explanation sheet to help you understand how your biweekly pay is calculated. The explanation sheet answers questions that you might have about the pay you receive for each class that you teach. This is particularly important if you teach multiple sections with different schedules. The explanation sheet explains why your pay might appear to be different for two classes having the same load.Class Rosters and Pay: If you have any trouble accessing your class rosters on-line in the SIS system, please notify your Department Chair or Department Secretary right away because it might indicated that you are not correctly assigned as the instructor for the classes you are teaching.Reviewing Your Paycheck Statement or Online Direct Deposit Advice: When you are paid, the classes and load hours you are teaching should be listed on your paycheck statement or your online direct deposit advice. If the dates for your class fall within the current pay period for which you being paid and your class is not listed, or if a class for which you should not be paid is listed, please notify the MCC Human Resources Department immediately. If the load hours or dates for your classes are listed incorrectly, please notify your Department Chair or Department Secretary immediately. Note: If you are teaching “combined” classes, there should be only one of the classes in any “combined group” listed on your paycheck statement or online direct deposit advice. If you see more than one class in a “combined group” listed, please contact the MCC HR Department.Notification of Pay Issues: After reviewing the payroll calendar and explanation sheet, if you still have questions regarding your pay, please contact the MCC Human Resources Department by emailing humanresources@mesacc.edu (you will receive a response within 24 hours, not including weekends and holidays) or calling either 480-461-7487 or 480-654-7783. Ask to speak to the HR Analyst assigned to serve your department. If possible, please have your paycheck statement or direct deposit advice with you when you call. Please leave a detailed message including your name, employee ID number, department, class info, and phone number where you can be reached. Please note that staff members at the reception counter in the HR office are not able to answer detailed pay-related inquiries on a walk-in basis. Walk-in inquiries are documented and referred to the appropriate HR Analyst to be researched and answered in the order received. ................
