Gurowski at 6:00 PM in the Webster Schroeder Library Conference Room, located at 875 Ridge Road, Webster. There was a quorum. M. Suffoletto motioned, S. Casey seconded that the board move into executive session for the purpose of discussing specific personnel.Vote: Yes: 6; No: 0. The board went into executive session at 6:00 p.m.The August 15, 2019, meeting of the Webster Board of Education was called to order by President T. Suffoletto seconded to move out of Executive session and into public meeting.The agenda was reviewed and there were no modifications. Vote: Yes: 6; No: 0. Visitor speaking time - NoneSuperintendent’s ReportSuperintendent Gumina reported that the first day of school is Thursday, Sept 5 and stated that new start times are online. Rigillo, seconded to accept Superintendent Gumina’s contract.Vote: 6: Yes; 0: No. President Gurowski administered the oath of office to Superintendent Gumina.Code of Conduct 2019-2020Superintendent Gumina reviewed and reported that there are no changes to the Code of Conduct for the 2019-20 school year. S. Casey, motioned, L. Dioguardi, seconded to accept the 2019-2020 Code of Conduct to be reviewed this year. Casey, seconded to accept the Shared Services Agreement for Fuel Procurement with The Northeast Joint Fire District and the Village of Webster as presented by Assistant Superintendent Freeman.Vote: 6: Yes; 0: No,2019-2020 Final Reserve TransfersJ. Strege, motioned, M. Rigillo, seconded to accept the Final 2018-2019 Reserve Transfers as presented by Assistant Superintendent Freeman. Vote: 6: Yes; 0: No.Tax Certiorari Reserve: Transfer of $250,000 into the reserve from unappropriated fund balance.TRS Sub Fund: Transfer of $250,000 into the reserve from unappropriated fund balance.BOCES Capital Project Fund: Transfer of $500,000 into the fund from unappropriated fund balance.Tax Certiorari Reserve: Transfer out of reserve in the amount of $2,126 to pay settled cases.The following transfers from the following reserves to start the fiscal year were not needed as part of the revenue budget for 2018-2019 and can be returned as follows:Employee Retirement Contribution Reserve: $2,042,499For the 2019-2020 school year, the following transfers out of the reserve will need to be made as part of the revenue budget for the fiscal year:Employee Retirement Contribution Reserve: $2,042,499Treasurer’s Report May 2019L. Strege, seconded to accept the consent agenda recommended by the superintendent including Minutes of the June 20, 2019 Workshop, June 27, 2019 Executive Session, July 2, 2019 Regular and Reorganization Meeting, Personnel Actions including: Certified Probationary, Certified Regular Substitute, Certified Part Time, Classified Appointments, Adjustments, Additional Assignments, Leaves of Absence, Leaves of Absence for Interim Assignments, Resignations, Resignations Appointed to New Position, Retirements, Tenure, Recommendations of the Committee on Special Education meetings, Recommendations of the Committee on Preschool Special Education meetings, International Trip approval to Italy, and Pizza and Bagel bids.
