2. Job Purpose:

• To supervise the Computer Operations team in all operational procedures

3. Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth running of all daily / weekly / period / yearly processes and procedures

• Supervise the IT administration processes (i.e. maintain runsheets)

• Responsibility for ensuring successful system backups and communicating failures to Service and Support Manager

• Monitoring and reporting general systems through preferred monitoring tools.

• Responsibility for maintaining structure and data in IT Knowledge Portal (Sharepoint)

• Assist SSG and Helpdesk as required

• Maintain staff rotas for shift pattern / holiday / sickness

• On call duties

• Purchasing of stationery / hardware and software

• Administration of the health and safety for IT in Block F

• Compliance with health and safety responsibilities as defined at Level 3 of the company Health and Safety Policy arrangements
