Resources—you will be provided three (3) maps for this activity.

(1) The Lewis & Clark Expedition map—to use as a guide when transferring route information.

(2) An Oregon Trail map—to use as a guide when transferring route information.

(3)A US map on which you will identify the Lewis & Clark Expedition and Oregon Trail routes.

Directions:

• Map the route of the Lewis and Clark expedition and the Oregon Trail.

• Use colors to indicate the Oregon Trail and different colors for the Lewis & Clark expedition route.

• Create a key/Legend.

• Print clearly and legibly, keeping your labels horizontal where possible.
