Ideas for Organizing Split-Level Classes

Ideas for Organizing Split-Level Classes

Local District 3, Leigh Peacock

Here is some idea for organizing time for a classroom containing ESL students who are studying at different levels.

1) Selection and Unit Tests Should fall on the same days for whole class.

2) Whole group can work on the same dispatches each day. This will help in whole class spirit and classroom management.

3) Students should work on writing projects at same time. The assignment may be different but the process is the same.

4) Each level should get equal wall space to motivate and inspire them.

5) Cooperative groups must be structured by whole class so when they are happening simultaneously to class instruction, they will be successful.
