Ideas about a doodle:

▪ Set the rules for receiving a doodle. Consider writing them down and attaching them to the den doodle.
▪ If a boy is not receiving any doodles speak to his family/committee chair (uniform), or make some that he can earn.
▪ Give out doodles at every den meeting
▪ Have the doodle be part of the den routine so the boys know when to expect it and how they are expected to behave during the doodle presentation.
▪ Use a ceremony for the presentation to make the doodle more impressive. Many ideas can be found in Ceremonies for Dens & Packs (available to down load).
▪ It may be helpful to have an advancement sticker chart as part of the den doodle display to encourage boys to work on advancement and keep them informed where they are
▪ Display the den doodle and advancement chart at pack meeting

▪ Identify each symbol for the doodle
