Bookings

Provisional bookings are accepted by phone, email or in person and can be pencilled into the diary. To confirm your booking you must pay a non-refundable £50 deposit in person at the farm within 2 weeks of making your provisional booking.

The table below shows the party slots available and the order of activities within each slot – these cannot be adjusted:

Standard Party Package

The standard package consists of 1 hour indoor play, up to 45 mins use of the party room for food and unlimited time outside at the farm (till 6pm) visiting the animals, using the outdoor play facilities,etc. The cost is £100 and covers up to 20 guests (adults and children). Additional guests are charged at £3 per head but we can only accommodate a maximum of 5 additional guests in this package.

Large Party Package

The large package consists of 1 hour indoor play, up to 45 mins use of the large party room for food and unlimited time outside at the farm (till 6pm closing time). The cost is £150 and covers up to 40 guests (adults and children). Please note that even if your numbers drop it is not possible to change to the standard package once your booking has been confirmed as we will have allocated the whole party room to your booking. 40 is the maximum number permitted.

Babies under 12 months are not included in your party numbers. However we do only have limited space inside and may not be able to accommodate large numbers of prams inside the indoor play centre.

Sometimes parents dropping children off at birthday parties decide they want to stay with their child. If these adults are not counted in the planned guest numbers for your party, they will have to pay the normal adult admission fee (£5). We ask that you make parents aware of this when making the invitations.

We can provide party bags at £3 per head but you need to request these at least 2 weeks prior to your party date.

We will ring you in the week leading up to your party to confirm final numbers/ details,etc.

We suggest you may want to advise parents on your invites to send wellies and raincoats with their children in case of poor weather outside.

It is also helpful if you are able to make us aware of any special requirements in advance e.g. children with allergies, ADHD, autism, etc.

Unfortunately, we cannot permit additional activities e.g. balloon modellers/ face painters, etc.

Party Room

The party package includes up to 45 mins for your guests to eat food in the party room. All belongings must be removed from the party room at the end of your 45 minute slot.

You will usually have access to the party room to set up food, etc whilst the children are playing during the first hour of the party. However, if your party overlaps with another we may not be able to grant you access to the room for the first 30 mins of your stay at the farm. However, this period is whilst the children are enjoying the playframe and we will provide a gift table in the main seating area for present storage during this time.

Similarly, if you arrive before your booked party time, we cannot guarantee access to a party room, for example to set up, as the room may be in use or the farm may not be open as yet. You will however have at least 30 mins set up time available whilst the children play. We are happy to help you set out food if required.

There is some basic party decoration in the party room and we don’t allow anything else to be stuck to the walls or doors. However, themed tablecovers, balloons or freestanding banners are all fine.

Our party room is divided into two sides – the standard package uses one side and for the large package we remove the divider and both sides are used.

The indoor time period of parties may overlap but if this is the case we arrange it so that we do not have two groups both in the party room to eat their food or both on the playframe at the same time.

We ask that you do not rearrange the furniture in the party room and if any change in set up is desired you discuss it with us.

We ask that you and your guests vacate the party room in a timely manner at the end of your allocated time in order that it can be cleaned prior to any following party. When you are finished your food in the party room and ready to leave, you do not need to worry about clearing up. Please just gather anything you want to take home with you and leave the mess to us!

Children may not re-enter the playframe once their hour of playtime has finished and we ask that you do try to keep them in the party room till everyone’s finished once they have gone in there for their food.

All party guests are required to leave the indoor play centre at the end of the allocated indoor time for your party. This allows us to free up seating for other indoor play users. There are alternative seating areas in the barn and polytunnel at the farm.

Food/Drink

You will need to organise your own food for the children at your party. You might choose homemade or ordered/ collected from local takeaways, etc. Unfortunately however we don’t have any facilities to heat or chill food.

We will provide complimentary jugs of orange and blackcurrant cordial whilst the children play and these can be refilled for your party food time as needed. Water is also available on request.

As we have hot drinks, traybakes and confectionary at our counter, we ask that you do not bring these items for any adults who may be accompanying your guests.

If you would like to pay for your guests’ hot drinks, we can keep a tally and add it to your final bill - please just let us know at the start of your party.
