by 8:55am Thursday morning.

Any hard copies turned in after this date will be subject to a 10 point per school day penalty. Any electronic submissions after 8:55am will be subject to a 10 point per day penalty.

Length: This paper will be a minimum of 3 full pages. A penalty will be assessed for any paper that does not meet the minimum length. Papers will certainly be welcomed that exceed 3 pages, but no more than 5 pages.

Requirements:

• You may use the internet, but you may not cite (use, copy or quote) anything from . This site is unreliable and will not be used in your paper as a source. You should feel free to use other web sites, especially the site created by the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in your work. We will go over acceptable and unacceptable sites to use.

• At a minimum, you will use at least 3 sources in your paper. If you need help in locating these, please do not hesitate to ask me or Mrs. Ebert in the library. You must have at least two electronic sources incorporated into your paper. You are also required to use at least one print (an actual book) source. This does not include Night. You may use any of the online databases available in the library as well.

• For all sources used in your paper, you will provide a works cited page.

• This paper must be typed, doubled-spaced with size 12 font. You must use Times New Roman font. You may not use any other font type or size. Margins must be 1 inch; anything more or less will result in point deductions.

• You will use MLA format.

• This paper will be submitted to me online via in addition to the hard copy. If, for some reason, you cannot submit the paper to from home, you will need to make arrangements to do so from school ahead of time. Failure to plan ahead will not constitute an emergency on my part for the due date.
