After migration of MTNL Email Service to NIC , Customers needs to make following changes in POP/IMAP/SMTP Server Settings in case they are using Mail Client like Outlook, Thunderbird etc.

SMTP Server:

smtp..in (Port 465 , SSL encryption ON)

IMAP Server:

imap..in (Port 993, SSL encryption ON)

Those customers who are using Webmail : or , they can use URL to log-in. Please note that complete email address i.e. xxxxx@.in (having suffix @.in) may be used to log-in. In case of any difficulty in Log-in, please write to alert@.in using any alternative email id.

1. Go to Tools -> Account Settings -> Select the Account to be configured-> Click on Change

Make Changes as mentioned

Incoming mail server:

imap..in

Outgoing mail server (SMTP) smtp..in

2. Click on More Setting ->Advanced Change Incoming Server Port to 993 Tick on "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) Change Outgoing Server Port to 465 Select SSL in "Use the following type of encrypted connection"
