Call for Submissions:

Be a Featured Thought Leader

We are seeking session proposals for presentation at the 2011 HRO Summits taking place as follows:-

2nd year at HRO Summit APAC, Singapore 11-12th May 2011 CLOSED

5th year at RPO Summit US, Las Vegas, 24-26th May 2011 CLOSED

3rd year at HRO Summit US, Las Vegas, 24-26th May 2011 CLOSED

8th year at HRO Summit Europe, Barcelona, 15-17th November 2011 OPEN UNTIL 31st March 2011

The HRO Summits provide a unique collaborative environment for an exclusive audience of HR, Recruitment and Technology executives to discuss the future of HR, including many from some of the world’s greatest companies. If you fall into one of the following categories you may have personal experiences and lessons to share with your colleagues:

• HR Executive managing a large HR delivery organization

• Senior executive in Talent Management or Recruiting and Staffing

• HRIS executive managing technology infrastructure

• An executive in a firm providing HR services, technology or outsourcing to support HR operations

• A executive in a firm that offers thought leadership or consulting to HR

Submissions can be received from practitioners, or proposed by providers and advisors but all presentations must be given solely by the practitioner.

Please submit a brief synopsis, and preferably a 3-5 minute video outlining your session by 31/3/2011.  We'll use these synopses to select sessions and we'll post them online for delegates to see as they review the program and register. To make a submission simply go to:  . In the session description field you can insert a link to the video (on YouTube or your own site).  If you don't want to submit a video, just fill out the form below or online and provide a 2-3 paragraph description of the session. 

Some suggested content areas are listed below and please feel free to suggest others. We look forward to reviewing your submissions.

o The Future Vision of HR

o Human Resources Technology (HRT)

o Other

We are seeking two different categories of content.

1. Persistent Challenges: Issues that cut across many areas of human resources, human resources, services and technology such as compliance, risk , vendor service performance, service level agreements, generational issues, workforce issues, changing regulatory environments and managing internal and outsourced resources, integration of technology, etc.

2. Deep Dives: topic specific content in each category above in a case study format about problem identification, analysis, solution and result presentation. Some examples would include transitioning HR technology infrastructure from legacy ERP to cloud computing platforms, managing a transformation process from internal HR department to shared services model to outsourced processes, outsourcing staffing to an RPO provider, managing HR delivery to a large distributed population in a large number of countries, etc.

Deadlines for Submissions:

• January 14, 2011: Call for Submissions Opens

• March 31, 2011: Written/video abstract submissions due

• May 30, 2011: Notification of acceptance for presentation at the Summit

• September 1, 2011: Final Agenda Released

• September 29, 2011: Final Presentations* due

*NB by participating in this process you are agreeing to have your materials included in the event materials and will deliver the finalized content by at the latest 2 weeks prior to the event commencement date.

Conference registration fees for selected presenters will be waived and the best presentations from each invited session will also be considered for publication in HRO Today at no additional cost.

Please read the following and indicate your acceptance by signing below.

 

I acknowledge that audio tapes, photographs, videos and other media may be produced from the various lectures, speaker sessions, panel discussions, keynotes and hand out materials presented at this conference, including presentations given by me and panel discussions in which I participate. I further acknowledge that compilations of these materials may be sold or provided free of charge by the event producers and owners of this conference, and its successors, to registered attendees of these events and other individuals.

 

I hereby give my permission to the event producers and owners and their successors, their agents and representatives, to record and distribute audio tapes, photographs, videos and any other media that contain all or a portion of any presentations I give, papers I present, hand out materials I distribute, and panel discussions in which I participate at this event, without any obligation on event owner’s part to pay me fees or royalty.

 

Having given the above permission, I retain the right to terminate said permission but must do so in writing in a timely fashion prior to event production.
