The overall experience I've had in my work life is varied enough that, matched to the way that I easily blend in any situation I'm put in, it gives me a quick advantage in understanding what the important goals are and how to best achieve them.
My degree as an electrical engineer with a focus on communications has given me access to different work fields.
My work as an engineering assistant in power transmission lines’ tower construction in the field provides knowledge on working with crews, and getting from planning to actually doing.
My work as a systems supervisor in a new project required me to get acquainted with working on matching the outside data with the internal systems, and give support to the operations center while at the same time moving and improving the way "things got done", from a purely analog stand to a digital way.
My work as a switch engineer has given me the ability to see the future of a company, to think how we as a group could bring ideas into formation and believe that with effort and work and talent we could be creating what would be in 5-10 years the next big "things".
My work as an operations switch tech not only has given me the ample knowledge of how telephony works in the here and now, it also has given me the sense of urgency that is needed to get things done in a quick and correct way. It has also given me the invaluable skills to communicate directly with customers and provide them with timely solutions and/or alternatives satisfactory to their problems.
My non-job related choices and activities have led me to become proficient in computer hardware and software as well as able to fluently converse in both english and spanish, plus good knowledge of portugese, italian and french.
