Ch?re Mme L?rudit,
Hier soir, j'ai ?cout? votre ?mission sur les traditions et je voudrais vous faire part de mes r?flexions ? ce sujet.
On est en droit de se demander si les traditions ont encore une place essentielle dans notre vie d'aujourd'hui. Notre style de vie changeant s'adapte ? la soci?t? moderne qui accentue l'individualisme, et les ?changes virtuels ont maintenant remplac? les communications telles qu'on les connaissait auparavant.
Je pense que les traditions sont devenues trop contraignantes. Pour ma part, j'ai d?cid? par exemple de ne plus aller ? ces longs repas familiaux qui n'en finissaient pas ou de participer ? ces f?tes r?gionales qui n'ont plus beaucoup d'attraction pour moi.
Je suis d'origine provinciale, et quand j'?tais jeune, je participais aux f?tes de ma r?gion. Mais depuis que j'ai quitt? la r?gion, je n'ai plus de lien avec ce patrimoine culturel. Je trouve ces f?tes r?gionales trop ancr?es dans le pass? et elles sont toujours c?l?br?es de la m?me fa?on. On sait d'une ann?e ? l'autre ce qu'on va faire, ceux qu'on va rencontrer, ce qu'on va manger et est-ce que ?a int?resse vraiment les plus jeunes ?
Par contre, de nouvelles coutumes apparaissent, telle que la f?te des voisins qui pour moi me semble plus appropri?e. C'est une coutume r?cente mais je pense qu'elle est plus adapt?e ? notre vie actuelle. Les gens qui habitent dans le m?me immeuble ou dans le m?me quartier se retrouvent une fois par an ; tout ?a se limite donc seulement ? une rencontre annuelle et on ne se sent pas oblig? d'y participer si on ne veut pas. En plus, ?a peut donner la possibilit? ? des personnes qui vivent isol?es dans nos grandes villes de se sentir moins seules.
