Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Borough of Hollidaysburg

This full time position will assist in all phases of operations and maintenance of a 6.0 MGD SBR Wastewater Treatment Facility, Laboratory and Collection System. Candidates must be proficient in all aspects of the wastewater treatment process and wastewater testing.

The successful candidate must have the ability to perform work in all weather conditions, provide stable employment and attendance history, and pass a criminal, driving, and preemployment drug screening test.

The Borough of Hollidaysburg offers a competitive wage and benefits package including paid health care, vacation and personal days. The Borough provides a non contributing defined pension plan through the Pa. Municipal Retirement System (PMRS) to all full time employees.

Minimum qualifications for candidates:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid PA driver's license

PA DEP Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's License Class AE, or the ability to obtain certification level within 6 months of employment.
