Treatment is usually surgical +/- radiotherapy, and prognosis is related to the presence or absence of lymph node involvement; 5-year survival is 70-80% with negative nodes and 40-50% with positive nodes. Mortality increases with the number of lymph nodes involved by tumour, bilateral involvement of groin nodes and metastases to pelvic lymph nodes. ................
