1. REQUIREMENTS

Files:

The Enroute Charting Digital Files are 2400 DPI Adobe Acrobat 8.x compatible PDF with file dimensions of 62.000 (width) x 22.000 (height) inches. Four PDF files will be provided for each side. One for each color. A total of eight files for both sides. Color bars are NOT included for each color.

Platemaking:

For the Enroute Charting Platemaking Requirements, the plate size should be a minimum of 61 (width) inches to accommodate digital file size.

Printing:

The Enroute Charts will print as a front and back. Trim and fold marks must align when backing

up chart. For the “Sample Only” the following PMS colors can be used to closely match inks. Black: Pantone, Brown: PMS 498, Blue: PMS Reflex blue, Green: PMS 354. NOTE: Formulated inks must be used when bid is awarded. The press sheets may differ from the SOW requirements due to time restraints. Effort to achieve close equivalent to paper poundage (lbs) should be made.

Finishing:

For the trimming and folding of the Enroute Sample see Section 4.5 Task 5: Finishing in the SOW.

Note: L-33 is the front side of the chart. L-34 is the back of the chart. L-33 title panel faces out when finished.
