REGISTRATION

The ETS? ParaPro Assessment is delivered on computer and is administered by appointment at Prometric? test centers,

at other participating test centers, at home, and at participating school districts, regional offices of education and

other agencies. Please be sure to determine if your state uses the ParaPro Assessment BEFORE scheduling a testing

appointment.

To register for the ParaPro Assessment either at a Prometric test center or at home, please visit the Prometric website at

or see the ETS ParaPro website at .

The test fee for Prometric appointments is $85.

At home testing is:

? taken on your own computer at home or another secure location

? monitored by a human proctor online through ProProctor?

? available 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.

To register for the ParaPro Assessment at a participating school district, regional office of education, or other

agency, please contact the test center directly. The test fee is $55. Some test centers may charge additional fees

over the $55. For a list of test centers, visit the ParaPro website at

register/test-center-registration.html.

TEST TAKERS WITH DISABILITIES OR HEALTH-RELATED NEEDS

? ETS is committed to serving test takers with disabilities or health-related needs by providing services

and accommodations that are reasonable and appropriate given the purpose of the test. Testing

accommodations are available for test takers with disabilities who meet ETS requirements.

? To request a testing accommodation, you must register through ETS Disability Services and have

your accommodations approved before testing.

? For information on requesting testing accommodations due to a disability or health-related need,

please see ※Registration Options§ on page 9. Disability Documentation Guidelines and forms are

available on the ETS website at disabilities/.

TEST PREPARATION MATERIAL

ETS is committed to helping you do your best on the ParaPro assessment by offering a variety of test

preparation materials. We offer both free and low-cost test preparation materials including study

companions and interactive practice tests to help you feel ready and confident on test day. Find your test

preparation materials at the ParaPro website at parapro/testprep.

ON TEST DAY

Test Center Appointments

? Report to the test center at least 30 minutes before your appointment. If you arrive after your scheduled

test time, you will not be permitted to test, and you will forfeit your test fee.

? Review the section on ID Requirements on pages 17每20 and be certain to take the required documents

with you. Without the required ID documents, you will not be permitted to test.

? Possession of or use of any phones, tablets, Chromebooks, wearable technology, and other electronic,

recording, listening, scanning, or photographic devices is strictly prohibited in the test center at all times

and will result in your dismissal from the test, forfeiture of your test fees, and cancellation of scores by

ETS even if dismissal is not enforced on the day of the test. This includes, but is not limited to, accessing

the device for any reason, including checking the time, making calls, checking for messages or any other

reason at any time during the test administration, including scheduled, optional, or unscheduled breaks.

? Watches are not allowed in the test room. If you bring a watch to the test center, you will be asked to

remove the watch and store it during the administration.

At Home Appointments

Before your session begins:

? Review the environment and testing space requirements to ensure your workstation meets the

requirements. Review the Prometric? User Guide (PDF) for detailed information on at home testing with

Prometric.

? Run a final systems check 〞 Fix any issues before you attempt to check in to your test. All issues must

be resolved before your appointment time. Note: If you require technical support before or during your

exam, please visit the ProProctor? help center or call 1-800-226-7958.

? Assemble your identification documents 〞 See ID requirements to be sure your documents will be

accepted. You will not be allowed to test without the correct documents.

? Watch What to Expect on Test Day (video) 〞 This video provides step-by-step information on what to

expect during your ProProctor test appointment.

? Be prepared to launch the at home test 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to allow

time for check-in procedures and completion of the Background Information Questionnaire. If you sign

in after your scheduled appointment time, you will not be allowed to test and you will forfeit your fee.
