Introduction

An interesting journey is waiting for you. We will travel through the sea using our small boat. In this journey, we will pass by many stations and we will know more about our body parts. The first station will be the head followed by the neck in the first island.

Then we will move down till we reach the final island of the feet and the toes.

Task

We will talk about the basic body parts which are the head, the nose, mouth, eyes , shoulders, neck, foot, knees, and toes.

At the end you will be asked to identify these body parts at your pictures.

I am really glade that you all children join us in this journey. Thank you very much!

In the next few days together we will start learning more about our body parts that is appropriate for kindergarten children.

Your task in this Quest is to use the internet to help you learn more about the body parts.

Remember you will need the information you find to develop a notebook about the body parts including the pictures that you will draw in which you will represent the different body parts that I hope we will be able

Process

Step 3:

You will draw a figure of human body parts by providing papers, pencils, and different color. Children will draw and represent the different body parts by pointing at them after visiting the site

Step 4:

A notebook containing all children's drawing will be developed by children themselves using an existed materials in the art center as strings to tie the papers together, glue and thick paper.

You will need to look at a body part model to know the different body parts you require to learn. Visit

Step 2:

- You will discuss with the instructor about the different body parts that children recognize in the model and the use of each part.

o elephant picture . Finish tracing the elephant, draw a trunk, and color the entire elephant. 

o  You will need to visit the elephant facts website and ask a parent to help you read the elephant information. You may also view the video and any other elephant fact websites your parents may find such as Elephants: A Book for Children by Steve Bloom.

WOW!!

What a great job my kindergarten children did learning all about their body parts.  After looking at all of the drawings and the book, I realize how wonderful you all work together.

I can tell you all worked very hard teaching yourselves and each other. I am feeling much better now with all the rest you allowed me to have  now class will resume as normal.
