Homework Policy: Assignments are essential to understanding mathematics, and therefore a large part of your child’s grade. ?Participation in class as well as the completion of assignments will provide students with the opportunity to learn the skills necessary for success. Expect homework every night. Students must show their work. Makeup/Late Work Policy:Makeup and late work will be accepted until the summative assessment for that unit. Students are responsible for getting their missed assignments themselves, assignments are posted in the classroom and/or on MyStudent. Students must complete all makeup and late work prior to the Unit Assessment for credit. Test Retakes:If a student scores below a C and wishes to retake the test, they must first make corrections to their original test. This must be completed within 48 hours of receiving their graded test. Points are not given for test corrections. However, this allows them the opportunity for a retake.
