"Dusty Bible" Campaign

Open Door Community House, our United Methodist outreach center in downtown Columbus, is in need of Bibles to share with clients. Please bring those extra Bibles you may have at home and place them in the designated donation box in the library. The Bibles may be well-worn and all translations are acceptable. This is an excellent opportunity to share the word with those who are hungry for it. For more information contact Ginny Connelly at 706-322-3857.

TO HONOR CAROL

Our Staff Parish Relations Committee wants to join the Wynnton congregation in honoring Carol Vowell for nearly 20 years of service. We will honor Carol on Sunday morning, February 15. As part of our celebration we will present her with a love offering. Between now and February 8 you can make a contribution to the love offering. We look forward to a time when we can all share our appreciation for Carol.

Remember to bring your gently worn shoes to church so someone else can make use of them. Just tie the laces together or rubber band them and place them in the drop box behind the stage room off the main hall. Your shoes may wind up blessing someone across the world - or right here in our own community.
