COVID-19 Drill ExerciseOverviewGoalsThe below document has been created as a drill for your site so you can practice using the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Toolkit and resources to learn the process flow, supply allocation and effective communication in the event of a rule out or positive COVID-19 patient. ApproachThis drill is intended to be a walking, hands-on drill, to learn and ask questions. We are asking you to perform this while moving around your site, this is not to be a tabletop only drill. Much of the learning will come from hands-on experience. ParticipantsPlease include as many people as possible in the drill. Be sure to include a representative from each work area such as: front desk, clinical, lab, radiology, provider, supervisor, etc.CAUTION: No actual PPE is to be used during this drill so we can preserve the supply we have for our patients. ScenarioStart the drill by describing this scenario:Scenario : Thomas arrives at the SNF with his family member via ambulance. Thomas was diagnosed with Covid 19 and was being transferred to PAN facility.
