The Department of Corrections Central Office Revenue Unit is responsible for the management of offenders' restitution. All inquiries regarding restitution, including the total amount owed, driver's license restoration, tax return overpayment/Middle Class Rebate being held by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, or bankruptcy, can be directed to the Department of Corrections Revenue Unit at:

The State Parole Board collects restitutions on behalf of the Department Corrections for offenders being supervised by the Division of Parole. Offenders under supervision can submit restitution by check or money order to the State Parole Board (cash and credit card payments are prohibited). All checks and money orders must be made payable to State of NJ Treasurer and mailed to:

To ensure that payments are appropriately credited to an offender's account, the offender's name and State Bureau of Identification (SBI) number in the memo section of all checks and money orders.
Please note a $1.00 transaction processing fee will be applied to each payment made.
Offenders under supervision are required to make regular monthly payments toward restitution. After 90 days of non-payment, an offender's name will be referred to the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue and to a contracted collection agency for collection and other legal actions as deemed appropriate.
