Parking on Campus

You MUST register ONLINE to receive a student 2007-2008 parking decal.

Please follow these steps to register for a 2007-2008 FAU student decal:

1) You must register your vehicle online through the Office of Traffic and Parking website at .

2) Enter your last name and student ID in the fields indicated and click “StartDecalRegistration”.

3) Fill out the registration form and click the button that says “I have verified my information – Send me my Decal”.

4) PRINT a copy of this page. This is your receipt.

5) Place your printed receipt face up on the driver’s side dashboard so you will not receive a ticket when you park in the designated parking lots for students.

6) Your decal will be mailed to the mailing address you provided within 21 days. If you do not receive your decal within that time, take your printed receipt to the Office of Traffic and Parking or email them at faupark@fau.edu. The Office of Traffic and Parking is located in Building 69 (Campus Operations) on the Boca Raton Campus.

Where can I park?

1) There are signs posted at each end of a parking lot describing who can park there.

2) Faculty lots are designated by RED parking spaces. Students may NOT park in red spaces unless it is after 4 p.m.

3) Visitor spaces are designated by YELLOW parking spaces. If you already have a student decal you may NOT park in any visitor lots.

4) A current FAU parking decal is also required to park in the parking garages.

Decals are not valid at parking meters. DO NOT park at meters unless you pay to park there and are willing to pay a $25 fee for being even 1 minute late!

If you park at a meter you must pay the appropriate fee. Vehicles with valid parking decals may park at meters without paying during the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. weekdays and any time on weekends, unless posted otherwise.
