This position will prepare weekly and semimonthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now. File any and all tax reporting and all other payroll duties. Report union dues, 401K deductions and loans. The position will also be responsible for the management and administration of the company’s group benefit programs and managing the data integrity in the human resources software system. IT will work in concert with the Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate pay processing each week and semi-monthly.Essential Functions:PAYROLLPrepare, analyze and input payroll data. Use automated system to produce accurate and timely pile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation/sick time, insurance, 401(K), flex, etc.Transfer electronic time clocks (E-time software) to payroll and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy.Process weekly transfer of payroll data to ADP.Pull many internal management reports from ReportSmith software and prepare various monthly billings.Maintain current knowledge of applicable State and Federal Tax wage and hour laws.Maintain current Payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR Perspectives and ensure effective accounting support.Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for management as needed.Prepare 401K and workers compensation audits.Supervise payroll specialistBENEFITSResponsible for the overall administration of all company benefit programs.Serve as the primary contact for all benefit questions and problems.Work in concert with brokers and plan providers to ensure efficient administration of all benefit plans.Maintain accurate data with all of our vendors and ensure that accurate data is also reflected in our HRB System.Audit and process all benefit invoices to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Responsible for managing the data integrity in our HRB system.Administration of all leave of absence issues. Manage the COBRA program to ensure that we are in compliance.Manage the Service Anniversary program. Audit BCBS summary reports, Delta summary reports and COBRA reports. Manage the Flexible Spending Account program to ensure the appropriate funding and billing elements are accurate.Manage the annual open enrollment process for all benefit plans.Ensure compliance with government regulations related to ERISA and reporting requirements.Create and maintain accurate company organization charts.Responsible for updating and maintaining accurate department forms on company intranet and in HR drive.Serve as the training coordinator for all employees and maintain accurate records in the HRB system.Responsible for maintaining the job description database. Manage the onboarding process for new employees as it relates to forms and benefits.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
