Laboratory
▪ The laboratory part of this course is mandatory.
▪ Please read the lab manual before each lab, there will be a quiz to help motivate you in doing this.
▪ 70 of the 100 points for each lab are participation. 30 come from the 3 quiz questions. A list of 10 possible questions is included on this sight, from which the TA will pick 3 to ask.
▪ 700 points {400 points} are possible for all of the labs, which corresponds to 15% of your final grade
▪ If you know in advance you can’t make it to your assigned lab for a good reason, go to the physics office and convince them of this, and they can write a permission slip for another lab. There will be no makeup labs.
▪ 2200 students who miss more than 2 labs fail the entire course. 2210 students who miss more than 3 labs fail the entire course.
