Welcome

Welcome to the Wide Angle PDF Converter User Guide. This document will guide you through the steps to using PDF Converter. Easily convert your PDF documents to a huge range of formats for use in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and more! You can even edit your PDF documents, merge multiple PDF files, and set passwords and permissions to secure your files. Wide Angle PDF Converter is a professional program for Windows PCs. This User Guide will guide you through using PDF Converter and introduce and describe all of the cool features the program has.

Demo Restrictions

The demo of PDF Converter has the following restrictions:

? 2 free document saves / conversions. ? You can explore all of the functionality of the software with the free demo, but this version is

restricted to the save or conversion of up to 2 document files. Any restrictions are removed when the software is registered by activation. See the Wide Angle PDF Converter Terms and Conditions for more information.

Wide Angle PDF Converter Requirements

PC System Requirements

Operating System: Microsoft Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10. PDF Converter is a 32-bit application which can be used on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems. Microsoft .Net Framework 4. The PDF Converter installer will detect if you do not currently have this installed and offer to install it for you.

OSX System Requirements

Wide Angle PDF Converter is not currently available for Mac OSX systems.

Quick Start Tutorial + Activating PDF Converter

How to get started converting PDF documents:

Step 1. Download and Install Wide Angle PDF Converter. Step 2. Run PDF Converter by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, or finding it in the relevant folder. Step 3. Click Open Document and select a PDF document from your computer. Step 4. Chose a format to convert to from the "Quick Convert" menu in the toolbar (more format options can be found in the Convert tab in the toolbar). Step 5. Select where to save your converted file to on your PC, then click Save. It's as easy as that! If you wish to edit the PDF file before you convert it, please see our Pages section further into this user guide. If you need to convert to a different file type, check out how to convert PDFs to other formats.

Activating PDF Converter

To unlock the full, unrestricted version of PDF Converter, you'll need to activate the program. If you have already purchased a licence from our store, you will have received an activation code via email. If you would like to purchase a licence for PDF Converter, please visit our store page. Your initial download will run in the demo version, which is restricted to 2 free document conversions. When your free copies have been used, you'll see the message below, prompting you to activate the software. If you already have your activation code, you can hit "Already purchased? Click here to activate" (1). Alternatively, you can activate at any time, by going to the Home tab in the toolbar, and clicking the Activate button (2).

General functions - Wide Angle PDF Converter

File Menu

The file menu is where you can find the general options to open, save and print documents. You can find the File menu in the PDF Converter toolbar. You will also notice that this menu shows your current document's Properties, your purchased licence details and information about the software version.

Navigation

It's super easy to navigate your PDF documents once they're open in PDF Converter. Scroll through the document using your mouse wheel, or the scroll bar on the right. Use the Previous and Next buttons on the Home tab to jump to adjacent pages. Find specific words or phrases in your PDF document by using the Find function on the Home tab. Zoom in to take a closer look at your PDF using the Zoom function.

Add Bookmarks

To make navigation that much easier in large PDF documents, you have the ability to add bookmarks. With bookmarks set, you can jump to a specific bookmarked page at any time! To do this, scroll to a page which you'd like to bookmark, then click the Bookmarks box, pinned to the left-hand side of the PDF Converter window. From here, you can create a name for your bookmark, so that you can easily remember what is on this bookmarked page. Once you're happy with the name, click Add.

With bookmarks set, simply click the bookmark from the Bookmark menu box from anywhere in your document, to jump straight to the bookmarked page.

Add Attachments

Another cool feature in PDF Converter is the ability to attach files to your document. An attached file will not be added to your document view in PDF Converter, but it will be added to the end file produced when you perform a conversion of a PDF document. This is useful when sharing / sending converted documents to friends or colleagues, and easily send a related file in the process. To attach a file to the current PDF document, click the Attachments box, pinned to the left-hand side of the PDF Converter window. From here, click Add, and locate the file which you would like to attach. Once selected, press Open to add the file. If you have received a document with an attached file, you can export the attachment by going to the same Attachments box, clicking the attachment, and clicking Export.
