Neil KITCHING – Player/Manager. A former player at Dales Lane who was named as the successor to former manager Paul Holleran in May 2009, having previously been joint manager of Coleshill Town since November 2008 with now assistant manager Martin Sockett. As a player he was a strong and experienced striker who excelled in the archetypal centre forwards role and netted some 43 goals in 119 games for the Pics after originally transferred to Rushall from Stratford Town in September 2004, whom he had previously joined from Gresley Rovers in October 2003. First came to prominence in non-league football with Tamworth, before going on to have spells with Hereford United, Paget Rangers, Highgate United and Boldmere St Michaels, where his goal scoring exploits soon alerted the attention of Gresley Rovers, whom he signed for during summer 1999. He eventually transferred to Sutton Coldfield Town in September 2001, before returning to the Derbyshire side during season 2002-03. Was in the Stratford Town team who won the Midland Football Alliance Challenge Cup in August 2004 by beating Rushall Olympic, prior to joining the runners-up and ending season 2004-05 as the second top scorer at Dales Lane by netting 19 goals in all competitions as the Pic's claimed the Midland Football Alliance Championship and promotion into the Southern Football League Division One West. Season 2005-06 saw the front runner go one better and end the campaign as top scorer with 13 goals in all competitions. After winning the 2005-06 Staffordshire Senior Cup with Olympic he left Dales Lane during March 2007 and ended the campaign with Stourbridge. He began the first month of season 2007-08 as part of a caretaker managerial team at Coleshill Town and later returned to the club in November 2007 after a short spell with Shifnal Town, eventually going on to become skipper of the side that won the Midland Football Combination Premier Division. November 2008 saw him once more take charge of Coleshill Town in a caretaker capacity, before linking up with Martin Sockett in a permanent role later that month. DoB: 22 July 1974.

MARTIN SOCKETT – Assistant Manager. Highly experienced manager in his own right who arrived at Dales Lane in May 2009 to form part of the Pics new management team with Neil Kitching, after the pair first linked up as Joint Manager’s at Coleshill Town in November 2008. As a teenager he had trials with Bristol Rovers and Arsenal, before moving into the non-League game where he played over 500 games at a number of levels over the seasons for the likes of Hayes, Bedworth United, Coventry Sporting, Racing Club Warwick, Stratford Town, Hinckley Athletic, Daventry Town, Downes Sports, Hinckley Town and VS Rugby. While at Daventry he became player-coach and was then asked to fulfil the same role at Racing Club Warwick, quickly taking on the Reserve Team managership and then the First Team role in a caretaker capacity. After resigning following a budget cut he was offered the assistant manager’s role at Bedworth United, before once more stepping up to manage in a caretaker role after his predecessor resigned due to the financial constraints. He later moved on to become assistant manager at Hinckley Town for a year where the club won the Westerby Cup, were runners up in the Midland Floodlit Cup and came runners up to Leicester City at Filbert Street in the Leicestershire Senior Cup. Following a spell at Downes Sports, he eventually became a manager in his own right at Coleshill Town for season 1995-96. After finishing a very creditable 10th in the league and then a superb third in the league the following year, during his third season the club were in pole position in the league when in January 1998 he stepped up in standard to manage VS Rugby, who later became Rugby United in 2000. Set the task by the Board to maintain the club’s status he did so on two consecutive seasons before guiding the Butlin Road outfit to mid-table safety the season after that. Rugby also won the 1998-99 Midland Floodlit Cup, the first Trophy won by the club for a number of years. During season 2000-01 he stepped down from his role after seeing the club progress to being top-six contenders and eventually became assistant manager at Stratford Town where in three years three trophies were claimed. He later had a 15 game spell managing Kenilworth Town, taking 34 out of 45 points to help keep them in the Midland Combination First Division and also win the internal league cup, before assisting Nuneaton Griff in the Midland Combination Premier. During summer 2005 he joined Brackley Town as assistant manager, before being replaced in February 2006 and later becoming Chief Scout. Towards the end of the 2005-06 campaign he returned to former club Bedworth United as assistant and in May 2006 was offered the managers role, winning the Bedworth Nursing Cup in his first season. He ultimately resigned from the post at the Oval in October 2007 and spent the remainder of the season watching games and reporting for several clubs at a number of levels, before entering back into management with former club Racing Club Warwick in November 2008 in a caretaker capacity and then linking up with Neil Kitching at Coleshill Town towards the end of the same month.

Stuart PIERRE – Coach/Goalkeeper Coach. An experienced and extremely well qualified coach and goalkeeper coach who arrived at Dales Lane during summer 2009, he is also currently the goalkeeping coach of the Birmingham County Football Association U-16’s and U-18’s representaive sides. Qualified to UEFA ‘B’ (Level 3) and due to commence on UEFA ‘A’ (Part 1) in 2010, he is also a Football Association U-12 to U-16 Youth Academy Coach, a Level 2 Goalkeeping Coach and a Level 1 Futsal Coach. During season 2006-07 he managed Solihull Borough Colts U-14’s in the Midland Junior Premier League and also coached the U-10’s at the Birmingham City Football Development Centre, in addition to being goalkeeper Coach at the Birmingham City Academy, covering the U-9’s to the U-12’s age group between 2006 and 2008. Through the period 2007 to 2009 he coached and managed Solihull Moors U-16’s in the Midland Junior Premier League and was also an U-16’s coach at the Football Development Scheme, whilst with Birmingham City he was a Shadow Squad Coach and Group Co-ordinator and Shadow Squad Outfield and Goalkeeping Coach, in addition to being a Coach at The New Saints Academy for the U-10’s to U-16’s age group of the Welsh Premier outfit TNS. Between 2003 and 2007 he also had a spell as Manager/Coach/ Secretary of David Lloyd FC open age Sunday side in the Birmingham Festival League. DoB: 12 January 1972.

Natalie HALE – Physiotherapist. Very experienced physiotherapist with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy who arrived at Dales Lane during summer 2004. Previously served in a similar position with Hitchin Town and also has Football Association qualifications, running clinics within the Birmingham area.

Nick AMOS – Defender/Midfielder. Much sought after versatile and experienced player who can slot into midfield or central defence, he signed for the club towards the end of October 2009 following a brief spell with near neighbours Bloxwich United AFC after also featuring for Stafford Rangers and Hednesford Town this term. Originating from Essex, his footballing career began down in the south-east with the likes of Rainham Town and Hornchurch, before relocating to the Midlands as a student and initially linking up with Rushall Olympic some 15 years ago in October 1994. In July 1995 he was snapped up by then Conference side Bromsgrove Rovers and played his football at the Victoria Ground for three years. There he was a member of the squad who the Conference League Cup during season 1995-96 (the first team in the competitions history to win it back to back) with a 10-2 aggregate victory over Kettering Town. However, Bromsgrove were eventually relegated from the Conference at the end of the 1996-97 campaign and following a season in the Southern League Premier Division he linked up with Hednesford Town in October 1998. Unfortunately, opportunities at Keys Park were somewhat limited, who played in a couple of positions when called upon. At the end of season 1999-2000 he joined Solihull Borough where finishes of 6th, 4th and 4th were achieved in the Southern League Western Division, before season 2003-04 saw them end the campaign in the promotion places where a 7th place finish was sufficient for elevation into the Premier Division, as a result of the implementation of the new Conference second tier. Following a successful four year spell at Damson Park he eventually moved on to Halesowen Town in October 2004, where he quickly became a crowd favourite. During his four season spell at The Grove he captained the Yeltz to the Southern League Premier Division Play-Off Final in season 2007-2008, where they lost to Team Bath. During June 2008 he linked up with Steve Bull’s Stafford Rangers in the Blue Square North, making a step back up the non-league pyramid at nearly thirty three years old. At Marston Road he we went on to become an invaluable player for Rangers, playing in a number of positions for the club during season 2008-2009. Although he missed a chunk of the early campaign with a knee injury, he remained loyal to Stafford when financial restraints came into force and stayed with the club for the start of the 2009-2010 campaign, one of only a handful of players to do so from the previous season. However, he eventually linked back up for a second spell with Hednesford Town towards the end of August 2009 to add competition for places in the Pitmen’s threadbare squad, until a change of management at Keys Park resulted in his departure. Grant BECKETT – Midfielder. Industrious left-sided midfielder who transferred from neighbours Chasetown during summer 2007 to begin a second spell at Dales Lane, after originally arriving back in November 2005 from Staffordshire neighbours Hednesford Town for a one-month loan spell. Particularly noted for his dead ball expertise and who can also operate in a more defensive role, he spent the early part of his career on the books of Walsall and Preston North End, prior to moving into the non-league game for spells with clubs including Telford United, Sutton Coldfield Town, Worcester City and Bromsgrove Rovers, where he was a member of the squad who finished as Midland Football Alliance runners-up in 2001-02 and gained promotion back into Southern League football. A short spell followed at Bloxwich United and following their demise he eventually returned to Bromsgrove in December 2001, prior to being snapped up by Hednesford during summer 2004 where he made a major contribution to the club's promotion from the Southern League Premier Division to the Conference North via the play-offs. He eventually departed from Keys Park during summer 2006 and linked up with Paul Holleran at Halesowen Town, prior to transferring to Chasetown in January 2007 and helping them reach the Semi-Final of the promotion play-offs. Damien CHARIE – Midfielder/Forward. Pacey and enthusiastic attack minded player who returned to Dales Lane for a second spell in November 2009 after beginning the campaign with near neighbours Pelsall Villa and later having a trial with Atherstone Town during October 2009. He originally linked up with the Pics upon eventually signing from neighbours Pelsall Villa during summer 2007 after being courted throughout season 2006-07. Began his career by coming through the ranks at Hednesford Town where he worked his way through the youth system to make his debut for the Youth Team during season 2001-02. During the 2003-04 campaign he ultimately made his First Team debut and after creating such an impression in only a handful of games his form culminated in a starting role in Hednesford’s excellent FATrophy Final success against Canvey Island. He remained at Keys Park until October 2004 when he transferred to the newly formed AFC Telford United and went on to become a big crowd favourite at the New Bucks Head. In his first season he as a member of the squad who gained promotion from the UniBond League Division One to the Premier Division via the play-off’s. A surprise move into the lower levels of non-league football followed during summer 2006 when he opted to join Shropshire neighbours Shifnal Town, before moving to West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division rivals Pelsall Villa in September 2006. Unfortunately he sustained a broken jaw in October 2006 that kept him out of action until late November when he returned to training. During his first spell with Rushall, January 2008 saw him leave Dales Lane and football in general for personal reasons, but eventually returned to the fray with Coton Green at the start of season 2008-09 and later linked up with Atherstone Town during September 2008. January 2009 saw him sign for Coleshill Town, prior to linking back up with Pelsall Villa during summer 2009. DoB: 27 November 1983.

Danny EDMOND – Forward. Highly rated prolific young striker who signed for the Pics towards the end of November 2009 from Bedworth United, opting to leave the Warwickshire outfit after failing to claim a regular starting role at The Oval this season. Having most recently featured on loan for Midland Combination outfit Nuneaton Griff, he began his career in the highly successful Youth set-up at Nuneaton Town, culminating in being a member of the squad who won the 2007-08 Midland Floodlit Youth Premier Division title, in addition to also making the successful step up to the First Team. September 2008 saw the front runner sign for Bedworth, where he quickly went on to become a regular marksman for the Greenbacks.

Gary FITZPATRICK – Midfielder. Tremendously experienced midfield general who arrived at Dales Lane for a loan spell from AFC Telford United in September 2008, for whom he had signed a deal for the 2007-08 campaign at the New Bucks Head. The skilful playmaker is an excellent passer of the ball and is a former Republic of Ireland Youth international who began his career with Leicester City, before moving into the non-League game for spells with V.S. Rugby and Moor Green. Following a spell with Swedish side IFK Rannberg, he returned to the United Kingdom and linked up with Hednesford Town, playing in the Pitmen’s epic 1996-97 FA Cup run which saw them beat Blackpool and York City before going out to Middlesbrough in the Fourth Round Proper. During the summer of 1998 he signed for Telford United for a £15,000 fee and enjoyed a good, if somewhat injury-hit time with the Bucks, before switching to Nuneaton Borough in June 2003. In March 2007 he re-signed for the re-formed AFC Telford United from Nuneaton Borough, four years after he left the club. DoB: 5 August 1971.

Chris GEMMELL – Goalkeeper. Highly rated ‘keeper who returned to the fold during summer 2009, after ending the previous campaign with neighbours Sutton Coldfield Town. Originally arrived at Dales Lane for season 2002-03 and quickly progressed through the clubs Youth Team and Reserve Team ranks. During the following campaign he put himself into First Team contention and made his senior debut in September 2003. Previously with Racing Club Warwick, he also spent several seasons at Birmingham City's Academy and during season 2002-03 was selected to represent the Staffordshire Football Association. A strong, agile custodian who commands his area exceptionally well and is confident coming for high balls, he was ever-present for Rushall from October 2005 onwards during the First Team’s Southern Football League debut campaign as he maintained a firm grip on the Pic’s No. 1. December 2006 saw the custodian depart Dales Lane for Sutton Coldfield Town to further his career. DoB: 26 September 1984.

Harry HARRIS – Midfielder/Forward. Talented hard working front runner, who is equally at home in a midfield role, he transferred from neighbours Chasetown during September 2009 to begin a second spell at Dales Lane, after requesting to leave the Scholars in search of regular first team football. He began his career by being on the books of Coventry City from nine years of age, but was released at the end of season 2004-05. He was then offered a two-year apprenticeship by Walsall upon being spotted at the Football League’s 2005 Exit Trials scheme and during May 2007 was one of eight Youth Team players to be awarded a professional contract. A player who never shirks a challenge and works hard for the team, his prowess in front of goal served the Saddlers Youth particularly well before making a seamless step up to Reserve Team football at the Banks’s Stadium during season 2006-07. He originally signed on loan for the Pics from their Coca Cola League One neighbours in November 2007 and whilst at Dales Lane netted four goals in six starts, before eventually joining Hinckley United on a three-month loan in December 2007, going on to make a further eleven appearances, scoring one goal. During season 2007-08 he made five Reserve Team appearances for Walsall and in the summer of 2008 agreed a new short-term deal. However, following the commencement of season 2008-09 he linked up with Chasetown on what eventually turned out to be a three-month loan spell, before deciding to remain with the Scholars in November 2008 – despite his professional contract with the Saddlers not being up until the end of the campaign. Prior to his arrival at Rushall he also had a brief spell with Halesowen Town and still has the ability to progress much further in the game with the right guidance. DoB: 9 December 1988.

Tim JACKSON – Defender/Midfielder. Tricky left sided wide man with pace and trickery that can make him a defenders nightmare and with a left foot that is a danger at both set pieces and in open play, he returned to Dales Lane for a third spell during summer 2009 after ending the previous campaign with spells at Tipton Town and AFC Wombourne. He began his career as a youngster with Stoke City before going on to have a spell with Kidderminster Harriers, prior to being released in November 2001 and linking up with Redditch United. He later moved on to Stourbridge in March 2002 and then the now defunct Halesowen Harriers, prior to transferring to Ludlow Town during summer 2003 and eventually Oldbury United in March 2004. He originally transferred to Olympic from Oldbury United in December 2004 and then returned to Dales Lane from Stourport Swifts in August 2006 after spending the summer with the Worcestershire outfit. After being released prior to the March 2007 transfer deadline he linked up with neighbours Romulus and later featured for Willenhall Town during season 2007-08. After a spell with Shifnal Town he later linked up with Tipton Town in September 2008 and later featured for AFC Wombourne during the campaign. DoB: 19 June 1983.

Ben JEVONS – Midfielder/Forward. Powerful attacking player who can either operate as an out and out centre forward or in a deeper role, he arrived at Dales Lane during summer 2009 after ending the last campaign with Shifnal Town, where he finished as the clubs top goal scorer. Began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers, before entering the non-League game with Bilston Town and later split his playing time with Willenhall Town during season 2006-07, where his long range shooting ability caught the eye. After beginning season 2007-08 with Willenhall Town he also featured for local outfit Bilbrook FC and eventually went on to link up with Shifnal Town and became a member of the Midland Football Alliance League Cup winning side in May 2008, scoring as the Shropshire outfit defeated Coalville Town at the home of Walsall FC. DoB: 13 April 1984.

Nathan LAMEY – Forward. A proven goal scrorer at every level he has competed at, the fleet footed Leeds born front runner returned to Dales Lane to begin a second spell during September 2009 after re-joining from Sutton Coldfield Town. He first signed for the Pics during summer 2008 after ending the previous season with Chasetown. He began his career as a product of the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth team, prior to leaving Molineux at the end of the 1998-99 campaign and linking up with Cambridge United. At the Abbey Stadium he featured for the clubs’s Youth, Reserve and First Team, making six appearances for the U's between August 1999. Upon his release in January 2001 he entered the non-League game after inking up with Hitchin Town. Summer 2001 saw him return to the Midlands, signing for Moor Green and during the next two seasons enjoyed a tremendously prolific spell by recording a ratio better than a goal every two games. His form soon alerted the attention of Hednesford Town and moved to Keys Park in August 2003, before eventually becoming Paul Holleran’s first signing at Halesowen Town in March 2004. Summer 2004 saw him move on to Hinckley United, but following a brief unproductive spell in Leicestershire he returned to the Grove in November 2004 and quickly discovered his goal scoring form. Despite being top scorer he had his contract cancelled by the Yeltz and rejoined Hednesford Town in March 2006, but could not prevent the Pitmen being relegated from Conference North and left Keys Park to link up with Bromsgrove Rovers in July 2006. During season 2006-07 he claimed the Southern League Division One Midlands Golden Boot award by netting 31 league and league cup goals for the Worcestershire outfit as they secured promotion to the Southern League Premier Division via the play-off system. October 2007 saw him surprisingly released by Bromsgrove and eventually linked up with Chasetown, having loan spells with Shifnal Town soon after joining the Scholars and then Stratford Town in January 2008. January 2009 saw him return briefly to former club Bromsgrove for a four game spell to improve his match fitness but returned to Dales Lane to season 2008-09 as top scorer with 17 goals, prior to leaving for neighbours Sutton Coldfield Town during summer 2009 and making just six appearances and scoring two goals. Mark LOWE – Midfielder. Talented young midfield playmaker who arrived at Dales Lane during summer 2009 upon being surprisingly released by neighbours Walsall FC at the end of last season after coming to the end of his two year scholarship period at the Banks’s Stadium. Prior to his departure he had featured regularly for the Saddler’s Youth side in the Youth Alliance North West Conference during the past two campaigns and also made a number of appearances for the club’s Reserve Team during season 2008-09. Has impressed greatly during the Pics pre-season campaign and is looking for a quick return to the professional ranks. DoB: 25 February 1991.

Anthony MAGUIRE – Midfielder. Extremely skilful midfielder with an excellent work rate and who is capable of playing in either a wide or central role, he returned to Dales Lane during summer 2009 to begin a second spell with the Pics after ending last term with neighbours Hednesford Town. Began his career as a youngster with Torquay United, where he spent most of his time within the Plainmoor youth set up. Upon leaving the south coast he eventually linked up with his home town club Hednesford Town, where he progressed through the reserve team ranks into the first team squad in October 2002 after some impressive performances. Eventually he became a crucial member of the Hednesford line-up and scored some vital goals during the 2003-04 campaign that saw the Pitmen reach the FA Trophy Final at Villa Park, where they secured an excellent 3-2 success against favourites Canvey Island. Indeed, the tireless midfielder netted in both legs of the Semi-Final against Aldershot Town and then claimed his sides opening goal in the Final, a feat that led to him having the honour bestowed upon him of being named as the Carlsberg Man of the Match. Following a trial with AFC Telford United during summer 2005 he eventually linked up with Halesowen Town for a month and then Bromsgrove Rovers during the early part of 2005-06 campaign, before returning to Hednesford Town in February 2006. Spent summer 2006 on trial with Chasetown, before eventually linking back up with Bromsgrove just after the start of the season. A long term target of Rushall, he eventually transferred to Dales Lane from Bromsgrove in October 2006 and helped guide them to the 2006-07 Staffordshire Senior Cup Final. Summer 2007 saw him transfer to Leek Town, where he remained until November 2007 when a brief spell with Willenhall Town was followed by a move back to former club Hednesford Town. During April 2009 he was in the Hednesford side that won the Birmingham Senior Cup against Stourbridge. DoB: 15 July 1984.

Rory MAY – Forward. Big, powerful target man who arrived at Dales Lane in August 2009 after spending the pre-season campaign with neighbours Willenhall Town, he was brought in to add a more physical presence up front. Began his career as an Academy player with Coventry City, before joining Tamworth on a work-experience basis toward the end of the 2002-03 season. Summer 2003 saw him sign for Lincoln City on a one-year deal, after impressing on trial, but later joined Halifax Town on a loan basis in March 2004. Following his release by Lincoln, after making some 7 appearances for the Imps, he rejoined Tamworth for the 2004-05 campaign, before being loaned out to Moor Green in September 2004 and then Redditch United in November 2004. After returning to The Lamb he eventually had his contract terminated in December 2004 and although being offered a deal by Bromsgrove Rovers he went on to spend four months out of football before rejoining Redditch. He commenced season 2005-06 with Sutton Coldfield Town, before linking up with Stourport Swifts in November 2005. A return to Redditch followed in January 2006, where he remained and won the Birmingham Senior Cup, coming on as a substitute and claiming the winner, against Birmingham City. After being released at the end of the season he linked up with Solihull Borough for the 2006-07 campaign and a prolific spell saw him net 30 goals in 39 appearances, which ultimately earned him a move to Brackley Town in February 2007 – although he rejoined Solihull a little over a month later. After almost resurrecting his Football League career following a summer trial at Barnet, he began season 2007-08 with Stratford Town and scored some 16 league goals in just 21 appearances. He was subsequently snapped up by Hednesford Town in January 2008, having earlier impressed against them in an F.A. Cup tie. In April 2008 he joined Worcester City on loan for the remainder of the season, before linking up with Willenhall Town in September 2008, following a spell with Evesham United and Stratford Town. Stuart McNAUGHT – Midfielder. Highly rated central midfielder who arrived at Dales Lane during the early part of December 2009 from neighbours Boldmere St Michaels, where he was club captain during seasons 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2008-09. Came through the ranks at Church Road, starting out in the Mikes Youth Team, before progressing into the Reserve Team and then making his First Team debut during November 2005. For the 2007-08 campaign he linked up with near neighbours Walsall Wood, before returning to Boldmere during summer 2008. Turned downh an approach from Sutton Coldfield Town in September 2009.

Justin NISBETT – Forward. A prolific striker or wide player whose electric pace causes untold problems for opposing defenders, he arrived at Dales Lane during early December 2009 from neighbours Hednesford Town. A player who loves to get the ball to his feet and run at opponents, he spent the early part of his career with the Walsall College football team and was a key member of the squad who won the 2006-07 West Midlands College’s Regional Football League Plate Final that saw them become regional champions. During this time he also featured for Dudley Town and for the 2007-08 campaign linked up with Willenhall Town, where his career really began to take off. At Noose Lane his goals during the 2008-2009 campaign went a long way to maintaining the Lockmen’s UniBond League First Division One South status, but also saw him finish the season as the club's top scorer with twelve goals. During July 2009 he made the step up to sign for Hednesford Town, which ended an almost year-long chase by the club, but his opportunities at Keys Park were somewhat limited and featured on ten occasions for the club, scoring two goals, before a change of manager signalled his ultimate departure.

Niki PRESTON – Defender. Powerful Nuneaton born central defender who can also operate down the left hand side, he returned to the fold in September 2009 having left Dales Lane for Atherstone Town during summer 2009, where he was installed as club captain. Originally transferred to Dales Lane in February 2007 after a spell with Solihull Borough, whom he had joined just a month earlier on loan from Halesowen Town. Began his career by progressing through the Youth system at Leicester City, before leaving Filbert Street and linking up with Hinckley United, where he quickly established himself in the First Team during season 2000-01. During his first season at Middlefield Lane he helped guide the Leicestershire outfit to the Southern League Western Division Championship and promotion to Premier Division, but then missed most of the 2001-02 campaign with a double fracture of the leg before returning to action towards the end of the season. After making around a century of appearances for the Knitters he was surprisingly released at the end of the 2002-03 campaign and initially linked up with Bedworth United in July 2003, prior to transferring to Solihull Borough a month later. A switch to Halesowen Town followed during summer 2004, going on to make 126 appearances for the Yeltz, eventually being awarded the captains armband at the age of only 23 in March 2006. After agreeing a temporary move to Solihull Borough in January 2007 he turned down a transfer to Bromsgrove Rovers, before opting to link back up with former manager Paul Holleran for a third spell, this time at Dales Lane. The defensive linchpin was named as "Supporters Player of the Year" for season 2007-08, having played in every single one of the Pics 40 Southern Football League Division One Midlands games and the Play-Off Semi-Final, while he only missed one of our 18 cup games. During season 2008-09 another fine campaign saw him ultimately named as the double award winning “Player’s Player of the Year” and “Manager’s Player of the Year”, before leaving to link up with Atherstone Town. Tesfa ROBINSON – Defender. Much sought after and highly rated powerful defender who arrived at Dales Lane during summer 2009 after ending the previous campaign with lower league Oldbury Athletic. Capable of playing at centre back, full back or in midfield, he initially played Birmingham AFA football for Lakin Rangers during season 2007-08, before moving on to Shropshire outfit Shawbury United during summer 2008 and then Oldbury in October 2008. DoB: 7 December 1985.

Adie SMITH – Defender. Extremely experienced right sided defender who can operate at full back or in the centre, he transferred to Dales Lane during November 2009 from local rivals Chasetown. Began his career as a Youth Trainee with Birmingham City, prior to entering the non-League game with Willenhall Town during season 1994-95 following his release from St Andrews and turned in some impressive performances that soon alerted the attentions of other clubs. In August 1996 he left Noose Lane for then Conference side Bromsgrove Rovers, who paid a fee of some £1,000 for his services, but couldn’t prevent relegation for the Worcestershire outfit. However, his performances during the campaign hadn’t gone unnoticed and he joined Kidderminster Harriers during June 1997 for a fee of some £19,000 to give him another crack at Conference football. At Aggborough he quickly became a fans favourite and after just two seasons in the Conference, the club won the 1999-2000 title and gained promotion to the Third Division of the Football League. He remained with Kidderminster for another three seasons in the Third Division, but during February 2004 he requested his contract be terminated for personal reasons, to which then manager Jan Molby respectfully agreed, having played some 244 games and scored 13 goals for the club, including over 100 Football League appearances. He quickly agreed a move to part-time Conference outfit Tamworth on an 18-month contract, before agreeing a new terms in April 2005. At this time he had become the captain at The Lamb and led them to the FA Cup Third Round, where they drew Stoke City and took the Potters to a replay at home, before going out on penalties. However, despite the success the club failed to emulate the same form in the league and were initially relegated, prior to gaining a reprieve at the expense of Canvey Island. Season 2006-07 finished in pretty much the same circumstances, although the club repeated the success of the previous season by reaching the Third Round of the FA Cup, but another disappointing league campaign saw them finally relegated from the Conference National. Although May 2007 saw him sign a new one-year contract with the Staffordshire club, after some four years with Tamworth, having made some 167 appearances, he eventually moved on and linked up with Chasetown for season 2008-09 where he became skipper. Unfortunately, a torn Achilles tendon in November 2008 saw the defender miss almost six months of the campaign, before returning to the fray just before the end of the season. DoB: 11 August 1973.

Tom STARKEY – Defender/Midfielder. Right sided full back who can also operate extremely effectively as a wing back or even a midfielder, he arrived at Dales Lane during summer 2009 after ending last term with Coleshill Town. Began his career by progressing through the ranks at Tamworth via the Youth and Reserve sections, before going on to join local outfit Mile Oak Rovers. September 2006 saw him snapped up by Bedworth United, where he quickly established himself as a regular at The Oval. DoB: 11 August 1983.
