DISMANTLING SATANIC ROADBLOCKS

DISMANTLING SATANIC ROADBLOCKS

Every nation has a group of law enforcement agents called highway patrol. They are to keep the highway safe and allow goods and services to move freely without any hindrance. However there are times when robbers masquerade as highway patrol officers. Their intention is not to enhance easy and free flow of goods and services. On the contrary, they are there to intercept goods and disrupt services, rob people and make away with valuables.

It is in the interest of all road users that such illegal roadblocks mounted by these robbers are dismantled. However this is never done with ease. The government usually mounts an offensive against these robbers.

Satan is the greatest highway robber that has ever lived. In collusion with his agents, they have mounted satanic roadblocks on the highway of blessings. His intention is to intercept blessings so that they never get to the owners and their intended destinations. These satanic roadblocks are illegal and we must violently and forcefully dismantle every one of them.

DISTINCTIVENESS OF THE STATELY ROAD

Daniel 9:2-4,21,22; 10:2,12-14; Romans 1:10,11,13; 15:29,22; 1 Thessalonians 2:18; 1 Corinthians 16:9.

God has built an highway of blessings between heaven and earth. All spiritual blessings in heavenly places flow unto us through this highway (Ephesians 1:3; 3:20; 2 Peter 1:3,4; Philippians 4:19).

It is a stately road and very distinct. However, Satan our sworn enemy like an highway robber has mounted roadblocks with the intention of intercepting the blessings.

Daniel needed revelation and understanding of the times. He prayed to God. God never delays as He has promised to answer us promptly (Isaiah 65:24). The very day that Daniel prayed, God sent the answer. However it took twenty one days before the answer got to Daniel. The Prince of Persia, a demonic personality, one of the chief satanic rulers mounted a roadblock to intercept the blessing (Daniel 9:2-4,21,22; 10:2,12-14).

God sent Jesus into the world to bring the blessing of salvation to mankind. His birth brought peace and goodwill toward men (Luke 2:9-14). However Herod, one of the agents of the devil mounted a satanic roadblock. He wanted to eliminate Jesus so that the blessing of salvation will never come to mankind. He was ready to do anything to achieve his aim (Matthew 2:8,12,16-18).

Whenever a great spiritual blessing is coming our way like in the case of the Roman christians (Romans 1:10,11; 15:29), Satan always mounts his roadblocks (Romans 1:13; 15:22). This was also the experience of the Thessalonian christians (1 Thessalonians 2:18).

Once the Lord is trying to open a great and effectual door for the believer, Satan mounts his opposition and roadblock. We are not ignorant of these devices of the devil (1 Corinthians 16:9; 2 Corinthians 2:12,14,11).

DEMAND FOR SPIRITUAL REINFORCEMENT

Daniel 10:13,21; 12:1; 3:28; 6:22; Jude 9; Revelation 12:7-10; Zechariah 3:1-5; Matthew 4:11; Hebrews 1:14; Psalm 34:7; 91:11,12.

Spiritual battles are at different levels. There are hierarchies of demonic operations and satanic powers (Matthew 17:21; Mark 9:29).

The angel that was bringing the blessing to Daniel couldn’t break through the satanic roadblock created by the Prince of Persia. God had to send spiritual reinforcement in the form of Michael the archangel in heaven (Daniel 10:13,21). Michael the archangel is the angel that has been doing battle with Satan and his hosts since the beginning of time (Daniel 12:1; Jude 9; Revelation 12:7-10).

God had to come to the rescue of Joshua the high priest when confronted with satanic opposition and roadblock (Zechariah 3:1-5). Angels had to come and minister to Jesus following His fiery temptation by the devil (Matthew 4:11).

If an angel needed spiritual reinforcement to combat satanic roadblocks, so do we. If Jesus needed angelic ministration and strengthening, so do we. If the battle was beyond the high priest and he needed spiritual reinforcement from God in order to triumph, so do we.

In our bid to dismantle satanic roadblocks, we need to demand spiritual reinforcement, angelic assistance and divine assistance from God our Father (Hebrews 1:14; Psalm 34:7; 91:11,12; Daniel 3:28; 6:22).

DISMANTLING SATANIC ROADBLOCKS

Daniel 10:2,12-14,20,21; Ephesians 6:12; Luke 10:17,18; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; John 12:31; Jeremiah 1:10; Revelation 12:7-11; Matthew 5:7,10-13.

Due to the effective reinforcement that Michael the archangel provided, the angel on assignment was able to break through the satanic roadblock to bring the blessing to Daniel (Daniel 10:2,12-14,21). The Prince of Persia however still remained there. This experience will be repeated on every occasion if nothing permanent and drastic is done about the terrible satanic presence.

As a result, this angel told Daniel that he was going back to do battle with the Prince of Persia, to dismantle this satanic roadblock once and for all (Daniel 10:12,13,20,21).

We also need to wrestle with every principality, power, rulers of the darkness of this world as well as spiritual wickedness in high places that have mounted satanic roadblocks on God’s highway of blessings (Ephesians 6:12). We must wrestle, fight, bind until Satan himself falls from heaven like lightning (Luke 10:17,18). We must pull down and destroy every satanic stronghold and roadblock (2 Corinthians 10:3-5; John 12:31; Jeremiah 1:10). Satan does not easily give up. He will fight to maintain the roadblocks. But we must violently and forcefully dismantle the satanic roadblocks through the name and the blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:7-11; Matthew 5:7,10-13).
