1 - Log in screen in K2

Click on BizNet Application -> HR Applications

Log in to BizNet () and click on Intra Applications -> Performance Review

I. Create a Form

Click on Create

II. Completing the Form: Initiate Review

If you want to initiate your review as an Employee -> click on the round icon in front of your name.

If you have employees reporting to you and you want to initiate their review -> click on the round icon in front of the drop down box, you will see your staffs’ names in the drop down box.

Choose the employee then Submit. Your employee will receive an email notification to access and start the filling in the review form.

Employee Information

The employee data are pre-filled based on the information entered into the system and the Period of Review defaults to the Fiscal Year period being reviewed. Check the prefilled information and make necessary changes.

III. Current Activity/Modify /Update/Version Control (after Employee initiates and submits a review)

The Current Activity shows the current and next approvers.

If you need to make changes in the form, click Modify.

After modifying the form, click Update to save the changes made in the form.

The revised forms may be viewed later by clicking the Version button (see screenshot above).

IV. Job Description/ Strengths/Areas of Improvement

These are free text fields. You may type in the information, paste from another file source or you may attach a file.

V. Accomplishments/Calculation

These are free text fields. You may type in the information or paste from another file source.

You may also attach supplemental files to support your list of accomplishments.

Score each accomplishment based on % completion (3 as the highest and 0 as the lowest).

3 = 100% complete 2 = >75% complete 1 = >50% complete 0 = ≤ 49%

Weigh each accomplishment, total must be equal to 100%. The weighted score shall calculate automatically.

VI. Critical Skills/Calculation

Score each critical skill criteria from 1 to 3 (3 being the highest and 1 as the lowest). Weigh each skill, total must be equal to 100%. The weighted score shall calculate automatically.

The ‘Comments’ section is a free text field. You may type in information or paste from another file source.

VII. Managerial Skills/Calculation (if applicable)

Important Note: If you have employees reporting to you, click on the ( to properly calculate the overall rating.

Score each critical skill criteria from 1 to 3 (3 being the highest and 1 as the lowest). Weigh each skill, total must be equal to 100%. The weighted score shall calculate automatically.

Managers may get feedback from employee’s other peers by the peer review functionality.

Select from the drop down list of employees you want to get peer feedback from and send the peer form via email.

IX. Overall Rating/Overall Summary

After completing the applicable criteria table, click on the [pic] box to calculate overall rating.

Employees: Accomplishments=50% Critical Skills=50%

Managers: Accomplishments=50% Critical Skills=25% Managerial Skills=25%

Corrective Action and Improvement Plan

Note: If an employee's performance level is below a rating of "Need Improvement / Transitional", a narrative description of what occurred and what is preventing this employee from performance at an acceptable level should be the main focus of the summary. It is recommended to include a corrective action and improvement plan. You may download this form after the Overall rating section.

X. Goals

These are free text fields. You may type in information or paste from another file source. You may also attach supplemental files to support your list of goals.

Important Note:

• Identify the goals for the next review period.

• Identify the measures by which you will assess the employee's performance.

• Identify any additional performance goals that you want the employee to focus on during the next review cycle.

XI. Training and Development

You may download and save the form as a Word document. Fill in the’ Training and Development Form’ and attach the form in the application.

Important Note:

• Identify if there are training/s that needs to be completed to support their job functions and goal

• Prepare a training plan you want the employee to focus on for the next review period.

• The information filled in this form will be entered in the Training Database

XII. Employee and Reviewer Comments / Submission

As an employee writing your review:

As a Manager writing your employee’s review:

The Reviewer Comments is a free text field. You may type in information or paste from another file source. The comments may only be viewed by the approvers and not the employee.

XIII. EE Final Review

In EE final review step, EE has 2 options:

Check the box [pic] then click ‘acknowledged’ or if employee still needs to discuss with the manager then click ‘return to function manager’

Important Note: After returning to Function Manager and further discussion, if Function Manager does not make any changes in the form then submits, the form will be forwarded directly to the employee. If the Function Manager makes changes, the form will go through the next approvers until it reached the Employee.

XIV. Function/Admin Manager Approval

After reviewing or modifying the form, the Function Manager must click [pic] in order to approve the form and send email notification to other next level managers up to VP level.

Important Note: The Function Manager will see this notice box in the form after employee submission (if employee has no Admin Manager) or after Admin Manager submission (if employee has Admin Manager).

Then, the Function Manager can [pic] to send the form to the next approver or choose [pic] if the review needs further discussion.

Important Note: If the Manager needs to discuss the review with the employee or with the other Manager prior to submission to the next level approver, the Manager may print and discuss the form in person or other ways outside the workflow.

XV. Approval Flow History

This section shows the activity history of the form and documents approvals which stand for approvers and employees signature.

XVI. Summary Page and Search

This screen shows you a list of employees reporting to you and the status of their review.
