Reviewing the last year:

In preparing for your performance review, your performance goals and progress on those goals from the past year should be documented in RiV. For Performance results - we will discuss two areas (progress on performance goals, and performance of key job duties).

1. In addition to what you have shared about progress on goals, what examples of successes would you like to share? What things are you most proud of?

2. What were you not able to accomplish but planned or would have liked to accomplish this past year?

Core competencies and Areas of Expertise (AOEs) - Core competencies and AOEs are an important part of performance in OSU Extension. Review tools include seven core competencies and one or more AOEs (see the Performance Review and Plan for your job group for more information - ).

2. In what areas would you like to improve?

Planning:

Plans for next year (including performance goals and professional development goals) should be documented in RiV. Goals will be discussed and refined with your supervisor. To help with planning for next year and refining your performance goals and your professional development goals:

1. What concerns/challenges are you facing that impact your ability to be effective?

2. Looking to next year, what would you like to improve or change? Strategies?

3. What resources or support do you need from me or the team(s) you work with?
