Students are to prepare a persuasive essay. The essay must be 5 paragraphs in length and be typed in 12pt font,

Times New Roman & Double Spaced The paper should be approximately 500 - 800 words in length. (words

three letters or less or not counted) For instructions, please refer to the notes discussed in class as well as

any handouts given in class and notes on line.

All topics must be approved by me. Students will also prepare a speech to reflect their essay which will be

presented in front of the class - approximately 3 - 5 minutes. (this is a requirement)
