Running off the success of the Fire Fighting Foam seminar in Brisbane in February this year, the seminars current subjects include: Foam system types and applications;Balancing performance and environmental impacts;Firefighting foam regulation within Australia and internationally;FPA Australia’s position;Fluorine free foam fire testing for mining vehicle foam systems;Major hazard facilities;Understanding approvals for aviation firefighting foams;Engineering practicalities when reverting to fluorine free foams;How to minimise environmental impacts of substances such as PFOS and PFOA;Contaminated site remediation.WHY?The goal of these seminars is to educate and provide a forum for discussion on key factors of interest and concern with firefighting foam system and equipment performance and environmental contamination.FPA Australia is facilitating these seminars to assist members, stakeholders, affected industries and the community to make informed decisions when considering firefighting foams. All submitted offers will be acknowledged by FPA Australia by email.All sponsorship offers submitted prior to 17:00 on Thursday 28th June will be processed based on membership level as per the above arrangements.Platinum members who submit an offer before 17:00 on Thursday 28th June will be immediately accepted in the order they are received subject to the maximum number of sponsorships available not being exhausted.After Thursday 28th June, all offers already submitted by any Gold, Silver or Bronze member will be processed in the order they were received, subject to the maximum number of sponsorships available not being exhausted.After Thursday 28th June, any offers subsequently submitted will be processed immediately and the offer accepted irrespective of the level of corporate membership, subject to the maximum number of sponsorships available not being exhausted.SPONSORSHIP BENEFITSThe benefits of sponsoring the seminars are listed below:Two (2) complimentary registrations over the seminar seriesOne free standing banner placed at the seminar – no larger than 1m x 2m in sizeOption to provide handout materials to every delegateOpportunity to set up a display area not exceeding 3m x 1.5m in the registration / catering area of venue – subject to room and venue capacity and approval.
