Materials: ? Blue, yellow, black, and white paper ? Scissors ? Glue ? Black Marker ? Stapler (optional)

Instructions: ? Cut the blue paper into two, 2 inch wide strips along the longest side of the paper ? Cut out two triangles for the ears from the left over blue paper ? Cut out two eye shapes from the yellow paper ? Cut out a small triangle nose and two pupil shapes out of the white paper ? Cut out thin strips of black paper for the whiskers, or use a black marker to draw them in ? Glue Pete's face onto the middle section of one of the large blue strips of paper ? Make a headband using the two blue strips of paper by measuring them to t around your head and attach them in a circle with glue or a stapler

Materials: ? Empty box: cereal, tissue, shoe, or shipping ? Scissors ? Cardboard Tube ? Rubber Bands ? Tape

Instructions: ? Cut a hole in one side of your box (generally this will be on the largest side of the box, and if you are using a tissue box, the hole is already there!) ? Stretch the rubber bands around the length of the box over the hole ? Slide the paper tube into the top of the box creating the guitar neck. This may require cutting another small hole. Tape the tube into place. ? Experiment with the sounds you can make and have fun creating new songs

Walk

Materials:

? Red, Blue, and Yellow or Brown Washable Tempura Paint

? Roll of white butcher paper or individual sheets of white paper and a paint tarp

? Four containers big enough to put your feet in (Disposable baking pans work

great)

? Water

Instructions: ? Outside, roll out the butcher paper or put down the paint tarp and line up the white pieces of paper ? Fill one container with blue paint, one with red, one with brown (you can make your own brown paint by mixing red, blue and yellow paint), and one with water ? Place the containers on the paper, start with the red container of paint at the beginning, then leave a space large enough to take a few steps, then place the blue container of paint, a space, the brown, a space, and nally the water ? Place your bare feet in the container of red paint, carefully step onto the paper and walk to the next container of paint and continue your paint walk until you get to the container of water to wash your feet.

? Wrap the blue pipe cleaner around

your nger

? Bend one end of the pipe cleaner up in

the shape of Pete's tail

? Draw Pete's face with the markers (optional: you can also cut out eyes and

pupils from the yellow and white paper and glue them to Pete's face)

? Tape Pete's head to the top of your pipe cleaner

? Tape Pete's shoes along the bottom of the pipe cleaner near the bottom of

Materials: ? Favorite homemade slime ? Blue or yellow food coloring ? Buttons OR ? 4 Oz Elmer's blue glitter glue ? 1/2 tablespoon baking soda ? 1/2 tablespoon contact lens solution ? Buttons

Instructions: ? Make your favorite homemade slime and add either blue or yellow food coloring to match the color of Pete or his shirt ? Slowly mix buttons into your slime OR ? In a bowl, mix together the glitter glue and baking soda ? Slowly stir in the contact lens solution. You may not need all of it to make your slime the perfect consistency ? Take the slime mixture out of the bowl and knead it on a flat surface ? Once the slime is done, add in buttons
